That night, you came out of the bathroom with a cleansed face. You sat at the table as Jaejoong was organizing his drawer. You patted lotion onto your face and smiled at him through the mirror, “I’m so glad everything is good now.”

“I know.” Jaejoong murmured with a smile

. You headed to the bed.

“Hmm?”

“Sit down for a minute.” Jaejoong said. Curious, you sat on the edge of the bed. Jaejoong got on one knee in front of you and took your hands. He softly caressed his thumbs over your skin and searched your pure eyes. “What is it, oppa?” You blinked. His eyes fell over the necklace and he gently grasped it, “Do you like this ring?” You beamed and nodded, “I told you 5 years ago. It’s my favorite ring.”

Jaejoong looked at you and smiled, “Then you must remember what I promised you 5 years ago.”

You thought back, “When I become a singer, I’ll make tons of money and buy you the best ring out there.” You smiled and nodded, “I do.”

“Good. I was hoping you would.” Jaejoong pulled out something from his pocket. “This,” He looked at the velvet box, “is that promise.” Jaejoong opened it.

You gasped. A dazzling diamond ring sat in the cushion. “Oh my gosh!” You cupped your mouth in surprise. This was so unexpected!

“I always call you my wife but I know we aren’t ‘official’ yet. I have always wanted to walk with you down the aisle and see you in a beautiful wedding dress. So…” He slipped the ring through your finger. It fit perfectly. “Will you marry me and officially become Mrs. Kim Jaejoong?”

Tears welled up in your eyes. Besides the day Youngjae had been born, this was the best day for you. “Yes.” You sniffled and wiped your tears away, “I will.”

Jaejoong smiled.

You smiled back and wrapped your arms around his neck. He hugged you tightly back. Jaejoong pulled back, “We better have the wedding soon.” He teasingly poked your stomach that was slightly starting to become round, “Before you can’t fit into your gorgeous wedding dress.”

You laughed.
