Chapter 10: Tears Of A Star Part 3

Callisto’s P.O.V.
It was the first day of auditions. The auditions would be an open audition that will be held at the school hall. Although I asked my parents about the auditions and they still said no, I still went to watch the other students audition…
I managed to drag Eunmi and Yasmin to come watch the auditions with me, and Sungmin volunteered to follow me…. (Sungmin is such a nice guy… Aw….)
We arrived at the hall and we saw a huge crowd of people there. I was shocked, it was like this bunches of people are queuing to watch Super Junior’s concert… Wow…
“Hey guys!” It was Yunni, together with Noori. “Are you here to audition?” she asked.
“No…” Eunmi replied. “We’re here cos someone dragged us her…” she turned and glared at me. “Callisto wanted to watch so we followed her too..” she said in quick speed.
“Oh, hahahaha…” Noori laughed.
“Are you guys here to audition?” I asked.
“No, we’re here to watch the audition too…” Yunni answered.
“Hey, this is a great spot to watch the students…” Sungmin told us as he points to a spot where we can see the stage clearly. So, we went and sat on that spot and waited for the audition to start.
“Hey isn’t that Hwayoung?” Noori pointed out.
“Is she Hyoyoung’s twin? She looks exactly just like her!” Yasmin shouted.
“Yeah, Hwayoung is Hyoyoung’s twin sister….” Sungmin explained.
“I guess Hwayoung is one of the judges…” I assumed.
“Hmm… I wonder if Hyoyoung is gonna show up to watch her sister….” Eunmi wondered.

The audition started. Lots of students stepped on stage to show off their singing, dancing and acting skills... However, there was one that doesn’t seem right….

“Hey, isn’t that Kwangheng from our class?” Eunmi shouted.
“You mean that student who appeared in Coffee House?” I said.

Kwang heng’s P.O.V.
-FLAHSBACK-

I didn’t want to go back…. I just got my salary for this month…. My parents will take my money away again…. What should I do? I held onto the doorknob, reluctant to open the door and face my parents. I turned away, and I headed off somewhere else instead.

I walked aimlessly until I reached somewhere which I didn’t expect myself to reach at all, Hyoyoung’s house… I knocked at the door of her house, I was hoping that no one was home, but someone opened the door.
“Kwang heng?” I knew that Hyoyoung had a twin sister, thus I had no idea if the girl standing in front of me was Hyoyoung or Hwayoung.
“Uh…. Hyoyoung?” I assumed that she is Hyoyoung.
“Sorry, it’s Hwayoung…” Oh dear… I mistook her again…. Sigh…
“You’re looking for my sister? She’s upstairs, she’s kinda not in a mood to see anyone now…” Hwayoung explained.
“Oh I see…” I nodded my head. “Can I see her?” I asked politely.
“Uhh….” She hesitated. “Okay, but don’t agitate her… She’s pretty emotional right now…”
“Okay” I answered.

*knock knock* “Hyoyoung?” I knocked on the door and called out for her name but there was no answer. I repeated it a few times and I gave up.
“I think she is asleep…. Do you wanna take a seat downstairs and have some tea?” Hwayoung suggested.
I followed Hwayoung downstairs as she prepared me some tea.
“So, what brings you here?” she asked.
I wanted to explain what was happening to Hyoyoung, but since she was Hyoyoung’s sister, I shall just explain everything to her…..
“Oh… I see…” She said solemnly. “Do you wanna try the auditions for Core Content Media?” she asked.
“Core content media?” Isn’t that an entertainment company?
“We will be having an open audition at your school tomorrow… So, you might wanna consider trying out for the auditions… And I don’t mind if you stay over at our place… Since your parents kept squandering your money. “She told me.
“I…..  I….” I stuttered.
“Unless you wanna continue to let your parents continue taking your money that you have earned.” Hwayoung warned me. “At Core content Media, we will be able to help out with your personal problems… We will help you make sure that your parents will not take your money by giving you your own account." she informed me.
Without thinking any further, I agreed to take up try out for the auditions.

During the auditions, I did an extract from the Coffee House script.

“So, what makes you wanna audition to Core Content Media?” a judge asked.
“It was Hwayoung who recommended me to try out for the auditions…” I told the judges.
Everyone stared at Hwayoung. “What?” She looks confused.
“Im sorry, sis. He mistook you again…” I heard someone called out.
I turned to the back and saw Hyoyoung. “It was me who told you to try out…” She told me.
“What? You mean the person I was talking to yesterday was…. you???” I exclaimed.
“Yes… I lied to you that I was Hwayoung… Haha” she smiled sheepishly.
“Hmm… Your acting was pretty good just now…” The real Hwayoung said. “I heard that you were from another company and acted in Coffee House.”
“Yes” I turned to her and answered.
“Your parents squander your money that you have earned from acting in the drama?” she asked.
I remained silent. “Don’t worry… We will try and help you. We will think of ways to ensure that your parents don’t take your hard earned money.” Hwayoung ensured.
I heaved a sigh of relief; I turned to Hyoyoung and smiled to her.
“Thanks, Hyoyoung…” I thanked her.
“Hyo? Do you wanna try the auditions?” Hwayoung asked her sister.
“What? Really? You’re not angry with me?” Hyoyoung looked surprised.
She shook her head and smiled at her.
“Okay!” Hyoyoung said happily as she made her way backstage.
The next few were okay but I obviously think HyoYoung was the best...
