ever since the controversies between many groups within sm, lee sooman decided to take back his CEO place in sment and bring back the concepts of the past which brought sm their success and popularity in the first place.
he chose six for now girls whom he believed shown potential within their years of hard work and training and the outcome became 'HERA' who would be debuting during the fresh start and first half of 2015.    

'HERA' is known to be the greek goddess of love, marriage, and life as well as the goddess of the sky and starry heavens, with ancient greeks having believed that she was the most beautiful goddess, even prettier than aphrodite. besides from having ruled over the heavens, she also ruled over the Earth, making her a powerful and divine being, thus why he named the group 'HERA' for they'll bring just that with the image they'll give off and all...
