The aura of the room was so tense. He can feel the darkness of a cemetery there. A little girl was sitting before him glance at him for the nth times. Her glare was too intimidating for a nine years old kid. He didn’t believe that Lauren is his step sister because they didn’t look alike at all. Of course, because her mom was a French while his mother was a truly Korean. Lauren got double eye-lids while he wasn’t. Lauren got that brunette hair naturally while he had dyed his hair first. She got western face after all and he was pure Korean. But it didn’t make him less handsome. Lauren’s mom; Arianne was his father’s third wife. The second wife was a Japanese but they got divorce after five years together.

His father was a legendary super playboy drummer in Korean. As a teenager, he didn’t want to hear a baby was crying in his house. So he left to London and used to take a good care of himself after his mother died ten years ago. He was too lazy called Arianne with ‘Mom’ because they only got ten years of . He thought that Arianne would be appropriate to be his sister instead. He only spent his time for about a year with his father, Lauren and Arianne and then go to London to continue his study. That’s why he never really know Lauren if it’s not because a plane accident which took his father forever.     

The door was opened. Three men in neat appearance showing off that they were the lawyer they had been waiting for. One of them looks older and more experienced among them who smiled friendly to him. He replied with a simple nod indifferently. Mr. Choi introduced himself taking a seat with his partner on the right and left side. After making sure that all attentions were on him, he cleared his throat, “Good morning.”

Mr. Choi continued, “… Before we start this procession, I want to say my deep condolence to Kang Tae Ha’s family. To the wife, children, and the rest of the family. More than a client, Kang Tae Ha was a good friend for me. So I feel like I’m losing him too because he doesn’t here with us now.”

He hissed silently. Mr. Choi clearly didn’t know his father. He wanted to burst in laughter hearing it all. A word of ‘Good’ can’t be associated with his father’s behavior.

“… My job as Mr. Kang’s lawyer is reading this letter in a circumstance where he is not with us anymore.” Mr. Choi showed an envelope to everyone in that room. He opened the seal, fishing out piece of papers and started reading it.

He didn’t have any interests to listen to whatever Mr. Choi said. He was too lazy to do that. If it’s not because of Sora noona―his cousin, he won’t come here, ever! He can hear that all his family members got their own inheritance from his super rich father. He even can hear that Arianne got it too because Lauren is still needed much costs to live for.

His ears sharpened once Mr. Choi says his name, “And for Kang Minhyuk, my only son…” His eyes turned to Mr. Choi awkwardly, “… I leave you my very precious thing I owned this time, your sister, Lauren, under your care. Back to Seoul, live in our house at Gangnam, and be responsible as a brother. Make sure that Lauren get what she wants. Don’t disappoint me.”

Well, he could only stare at Mr. Choi glared daggers with jaws dropped open wide for some minutes. His eyes shifted to Lauren and Arianne who stared at him in disbelief. He wanted to ask Mr. Choi repeating his words because he was afraid that he might be mistaken but then he knows that all sympathy stares at him from all Kangs were proving that he did not mistaken at all.

“OH THAT BLOODY CRAZY OLD MAN!! Even from hell he still can ruin my life!!!” He worded in anger and stormed out of the meeting room.
