Description

This is a story back in 1996 where the poor high-schoolers need to fight for their rights just to go to school.

These kids who mostly lives not far from the school, at the corner of the city were given a dispensation when they entered Pilsuk High School because of their parent's low salary and family condition. 

Most of these kids have amazing spirits and were dilligents. They got the best grades in school but yet, they were dropped out. 

 

Looking at the reasons why, 

1. [Junhee] Didn't pay school for 3 months straight but have filled in a form of dispensation.

2. [Youngjun] Were absent for 2 days in school. 

.

.

But some of them has even paid the amount stated and still get treated as if they're invisible. 

 

 

 

A story about how they fight for their rights and their passion for a brighter future, for a better life. And love that can make everything strong.

"We want nothing but a fair treatment!"

"How inhuman for you to do this to us? We're also humans!" 

"We have the right to study!" 

 

Cameras clicking, people taking reports, questions being thrown in, guards. 

9:42AM

 

He watched her under the rains, 

her hair fell all over her face.

Her clothes are soaked and her lips are pale from the cold.

But her eyes was full of determination

and her fists full of hatred,

her heart full of hope.

 

Police came, running towards the innocent kids and some of their parents, fighting

for their rights. 9:47AM

 

"Why are you taking us? We're the innocent people!" 

"What is this?" 

"Everybody stay close!" 

"How dare you to poin your gun at me!"

 

 

Seoul, December 2nd 1996

 

"Eat the rice. It's going to get cold soon."

She took the spoon and saw herself reflecting on it. 

 

"Mom, why aren't you eating?"

Her face, full of wrinkles, smiled at her. 

 

"Noona, mom hasn't..."

She looked at him waiting for him to finish his sentence.

 

"Just eat your meals. They're getting cold, Hansol-ah.."

She stops him. 

 

"Mom, what is it?"

And the lights went off. 

 

"Mom! Where are you? Don't leave Hansol alone!"

He screams.
