Description

Taeyeon escapes the orphanage with Hayeon, promising to send her little sister to university. She runs a food stall with Sooyoung, where they make other friends. Can Taeyeon succeed, or will the poor get poorer? Eventual Taengsic.

Foreword

Hi, this is my first SNSD fanfic:) It's an AU with OT9 in current day South Korea... there will be action, drama and romance.

Just a quick intro to the setting and characters... But hopefully the story will explain things clearly enough.

Current ages: Jessica (25), Tiffany (25), Sunny (25), Yuri (25), Hyoyeon (24), Sooyoung (24), Taeyeon (22), Yoona (21), Seohyun (20).

JeTi are fighters who work out at a neighborhood gym. YoonYul work the night shift at the 24-hour university clinic. SunHyo are PhD computer vision students, and Seohyun is an undergraduate working at their research lab. Not every pairing here is currently in love with each other BTW. 

Takes place primarily in Daeguk, near Seoul National University. Taeyeon, Hayeon and Sooyoung stay in a goshiwon. Goshiwons are cheap dorms near universities where mostly college students stay at to do nothing but study, sleep and go to school. Restrooms and kitchens are communal, and there's free rice and kimchi.

Chapter 20: Well I sacrificed my precious sleep to read this from start to finish...was great! Although I did not like the physical mutilation. I get why you did it for the story but I am not fond of such things. All in all loved it!
