Ren, an aspiring runway model dreams of modeling for his favorite label, ‘House of Kim.’ The only problem is that few people have worked with the famous, well esteemed but mysterious designer behind the brand or have seen his true identity. Making it his mission to meet and rock House of Kim’s fashion on the runway at least once, Ren signs on with the sketchy Chinese fashion designer Jason of JA Style who has promised him the chance to make his dream a reality. While under Jason’s wing, he encounters trouble from top model Hwang Minhyun and Aron Kwak who want nothing more than to sabotage his career and chances of becoming JA Style’s next top model. With so many obstacles in the way, can Ren ever find the answer to the infamous question: who is Mr. Kim?

Ren (23)

Aspiring runway model. After failing yet another runway model casting call audition, he surprisingly catches the eye of Chinese fashion designer Jason while out on the street. Becomes increasingly close with JR, a fashion blog writer whom he forces his friendship upon after meeting him at one of Jason’s shows.

JR (25)

Messy, unkempt fashion blog writer. Manages to receive invites to all of the hottest runway shows, scoring a front row seat every time despite being dubbed a ‘fashion terrorist’ himself by the entire fashion industry. Quiet, awkward and shy, he captures Ren’s curiosity and finds himself constantly being called on by his new ‘friend.’ After several coincidences occur, Ren finds himself questioning the truth behind JR’s quiet nature.

Aron (25)

Dating Minhyun. Views Ren as a threat from the moment of their first encounter. Although Ren initially thinks his hostility originally stems from siding with Minhyun, the truth is that he is insecure about his own place at JA Style and the modeling industry due to his increasing age. Has little interest in others aside from Minhyun and himself.

Minhyun (24)

Accomplished runway model, Jason’s top model in JA Style. Instantly views Ren as competition and together with Aron start to terrorize his life. Has modeled for House of Kim in the past and has never seen the man himself, but has seen Mr. Kim’s secret workshop. He makes a promise to Ren that if he could successfully beat him and snatch away his title as top model that he would reveal the location that could possibly lead him to discovering the identity of his highly coveted designer. Aside from Jason, Minhyun is Ren’s closest clue to finding Mr. Kim; if only the two could just get along.

Baekho (25)

The ‘hired face’ of ‘House of Kim.’ Originally started as a model but was hired by the real Mr. Kim to be his face and take credit for his work while he remained in the shadows. He takes on the 'Mr. Kim' persona, feeling conflicted about it the entire time. He becomes inevitably drawn to Ren. One of the very few people to have seen Mr. Kim in person.

Jason (28)

Famous Chinese designer of JA Style with a branch established in Seoul. Another one of the few that have managed to see Mr. Kim in person. Mistaken for a ert when he tries to recruit Ren on the street. Views Ren and his exotic looks as the ‘face’ that could represent his clothes to the picky Korean fashion industry because of his versatility for different looks. Manages to persuade Ren into signing with him with the promise that he would get Ren involved in his next collaboration with House of Kim, however, the details of whenever that will be remain unclear…
