Taehyung groaned, letting his head fall into his hands with elbows firmly planted on the desk in front of himself. Kim Seokjin, varsity captain, rubbed a comforting hand up and down the orange haired boy's back. Sitting around them was the rest of the school's beaten and bruised varsity and junior varsity team, as well as other affiliated students like ball boys, team manager and the like.Park Jimin,  left defender sporting a bruised cheek and neck (but the latter was most likely not from the fight, and everyone silently shuddered st that revelation), sat in the back corner cuddling with his younger boyfriend and star striker, Jung Jungkook,  severely risking more detention.In front of them sat Kim Namjoon, right mid, tapping a beat of his desk with a pencil while mouthing the words to a rap song he probably wrote. Min Yoongi, sweeper, sat beside him adding to the beat while co-captain Jung Hoseok panicked between his brother and his boyfriend getting caught by the teacher. The rest of the players sat in their desks sleeping or staring at each other,  the floor, or the ceiling, but mostly starring at the clock waiting for detention to end.

The shrill ring of the teacher's phone suddenly pierced the through the silence of the classroom, jolting a few students awake. The teacher gave the class a stern look before picking up the phone and answering in a hushed tone. The boys in the classroom watched the tab teacher with little interest,  slowly going back to what they were doing before. After a few minutes the click of the receiver echoed in the room.  Pushing her rolling chair back, the teacher stood and cleared to get the attention of the boys.

"I have to step out for a moment. I expect you all to stay quiet and not to leave the room. If you can't do that, then you'll get a suspension." the teacher finished with a glare be for she left with a click of her heels.

The boys sat in a stunned silence until someone whispered out a half hearted "Woo...party"

A few players chuckled quietly at the remark, but Taehyung's groan was louder. The boy let his head drop onto the desk with a painful 'bam'.

Noticing the boy's displeasure, on of the players in the middle said," Yah know, this isn't half bad..."

"Minho is right. I mean it could be worse." another added.

"Yeah. So what if we got disqualified from the tournament. We would have won easily. It's no fun without a challenge." someone else agreed.

Taehyung just groaned louder and sunk deeper into his seat, hoping that the floor would just open up and swallow him whole.

"Hey it's not your fault," Jin sighed and pulled Taehyung up to rest against his side.

"Yes it is," Taehyung mumbled into the handsome upperclassmen shoulder.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about it Taehyung - ah," Hoseok moved to the seat next to Taehyung and patted him reassuringly on the shoulder.

"Yeah, your face looks bad enough as is," Jungkook added from the back, receiving a smack from his boyfriend and glares from the two boys on either side of Taehyung.

"Gosh why did I even join the team!?" Taehyung cried.

" Technically you're not-"

"No. Just let him cry," Jin interrupted Hoseok comment.

But why indeed? At this point Taehyung had forgotten, with much luck to Jungkook's health. Because after all,  it all started with him...
