a rite to passage

Description

Because in the end, everyone needs to grow up.

Trapped in the confines of a superficial society, there's nowhere else for a girl to grow other than inwards. In which the strongest of girls succumbs to the weakest of temptations. One-shot.

Foreword

Pairing: Im Yoona/Lee Seunggi

As delicate and romantic an ivy can be, it'll eventually wrap around even the greatest of trees to bring it down. No one can stay strong forever.

This is my take on reality.

Chapter 1: Alternate ending please!!! :) or write another fanfic where they later meet again (yoona is the beautiful doctor and seung gi is a handsome famous actor -he got hurt during one of his filmings and he goes to yoona's hospital, where he is her patient=they end up together) :) :D

Chapter 1: I don't know how to feel... sad or happy that the ending happened like this. Awesome story though!

Chapter 1: I was expecting a cliche happy ending. What a twist of events! Makes me wonder if it really was love.

Chapter 1: In a way I feel like this fic characterizes a lot of what makes up high school first loves when the love was actually real at one point. It never ends well... You wrote this really great.

Chapter 1: I didn't expect such an ending because everything was so good for a while. Too much external influence. Yoona didn't think about herself enough. I really love this story!

Chapter 1: It's ironic that no matter how many things Yoona had done or achieved, it all became pointless in the end. She always thought Seunggi was better than her. Their love may have been true at some point, but I think she had more faith in Seunggi's and her friends words than her own. Love this one shot!

Chapter 1: Sometimes perfection is not enough. This is what I get from this story. I really liked it.

Chapter 1: I like how some aspects written in the earlier parts of this story is contrasted later. It's as if it was foreshadowing the consequences of their relationship in terms of how Yoona responds to various details, even if it is really little, such as with what she wears around her boyfriend, her behavior etc. I think the fact that she tried to be the perfect girlfriend... it was really the problem of the relationship as well as the downfall. What happened to their relationship wasn't Seunggi's fault at all and I don't blame Yoona either. It was just that she should have followed her own heart instead of listening to what everyone was telling her... even what her boyfriend had been telling her during the duration of the relationship.
