Out of everything, she stood contemplating her life. She had at least two things went well while one thing went downhill. And she should be able to life with that. After all, one was nothing against two. Except that that was exactly where she was wrong; this one wasn't nothing. Not to her. It became harder to bear, then, when that one thing became her everything.

A/N: I know, I know, I still have Counting Stars to finish, I promise to post its last chapter within a week. The idea for this fanfic, however, has been bugging me for several hours and I couldn't help but sit down and write it out. This oneshot is dedicated to MArchiChocoBox (sorry I can't give you a double post but Merry [belated] Xmas to you!) and icha_yoonyul (goodluck for the upcoming exams, same-age chingu!). It's halfway done now, and I think I can get it finished today. It's about yoonyul, of course, mixed in with a little heartache. Enjoy :)

UPDATE 01/01/2015: I think readers who've been following my fanfics will be familiar to the idea that I sometimes tend to go overboard with oneshot. It happens this time 'round, too. There's been a... word vomit as authors like to call it, not to mention some writer blocks here and there which lead to three things: 1) my one day late from the promised time; 2) apparently my brain deemed Soosica as an important part of this story so I added the tag now, and 3) this won't be a oneshot, turns out I need to break it into two parts with a mean cliffhanger in the first one.
