STORY. The concept of the red thread was simple: you’re born with a red string on your pinkies, and at the end of the seemingly endless thread is your soulmate. The two people connected by the red string are destined lovers regardless of time, place, or circumstances. Some find their soulmates in their adolescent years, others find theirs when old of age. The red thread can be the best thing since sliced bread, but to others, it is their worst nightmare. Throughout your lifetime, only two people will ever be able to see the red string wrapped neatly around your pinky: you and your soulmate. The journey to meet your soulmate is never an easy one, and while it does have its ups and downs, no one has ever complained about the wonders it works, because this magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never will it break.
Of course, to a group of of college students in the bustling city of Seoul, it’s getting harder to believe in the innocent bow wrapped lightly around their pinky. The stupid red thread has done nothing to them but give them failed relationships, major disappointments, and false hopes. Currently absorbed into their finals and college life, flyers and advertisements on finding your “true love” just seems as a bother to their routine. However, none of them are aware of what fate has in store.
