"A B- in ELA? Park Chanyeol, you never cease to disappoint me," Mrs. Park frowned down at her youngest son, who sheepishly looked down at his food to avoid their eyes. "Your father and I spend countless hours out of this house working ourselves to death to maintain the bills and what do you give us in return? This garbage!" 

The boy jumped when his report card was slammed onto the table in front of him. He finally looked up from his bowl to see the crumpled up sheet of paper. He chewed on the inside of his lower lip for a moment before shoving a spoonful of rice in his mouth, almost gagging from the silverware going too far in. Why must they do this at dinner?

"Eat, and go shower. You better not stay up late," turning on the sink, Mrs. Park wordlessly did the dishes. "Oh, and make sure to put that in your drawer. You'll realize how much of a shame you are to the family every time you look at it."

"Does this ever think of how I feel?" Chanyeol thought furiously, but didn't dare to utter it out loud. He could possibly be put up for adoption if he did. As much as he hated his family, he didn't want to be kicked out of the house.

With much difficulty, he managed to finish his food and went up to his room to wash up.
