Heo Youngji/Kwon Yeo Reum: 17 years old. As Yeo Reum, she was a regular student who was being bullied by her older sister's ex-boyfriend Seo Kang Joon. This led to her commiting suicide, but when she reaches the afterlife, she is given a second chance to change her life for the better. In her second life, her life is changed by a transfer student from Hong Kong.

Jackson Wang: 17 years old. He is accepted to Saegwang Performing Arts High School on a scholarship. He is originally from Hong Kong and his special talent is martial arts. He first meets Youngji at a neighborhood Chinese restaurant and they see each other again at Daegwang, where they get closer--maybe a little too close.

Ahn Jae Hyun as Heo Yeo Bin: 17 years old. He is Youngji's twin brother who is the victim of their neightbor's pranks. He is also very careful abotu who to trust, as it takes him a few months to get used to Jackson.

Seo Kang Joon: 18 years old. Ex-boyfriend of Kwon Hara and the bully who drives Yeo Reum over the edge. In Youngji's life, he picks on her no differently than Yeo Reum, only to soon find himself falling for her. 

Kwon Hara: 20 years old. Yeo Reum's older sister and ex-girlfriend of Seo Kang Joon, who currently attends Seoul University and is unknown to Youngji's existence.

Park Min Woo: 18 years old. He is Yeo Reum's half-brother and an employee at the neighborhood coffee shop. He is very smart and is the first one to figure out Youngji's identity as Yeo Reum.

Bae Jong Ok: 50 years old. She is the drama and theatre teacher who loves Youngji like her own daughter.

Park Joon Hyung: 45 years old. He is a good friend of Jackson's father and is Jackson's 'Korean uncle'. He gets suspicious of Jackson's friendship with Youngji but his doubt flies out the window after she comes over for a study session.

Park Jin Young: 42 years old. He is the principal of Saegwang, who believes is the best school in Seoul. He is then met with a cruel reality when he finds himself being sued for the suicide of Yeo Reum and the other bullied students who've also commited suicide.

Roommate Cast (Season 2)-

Lee Dong Wook: 30 years old. He is the crazy OCD neighbor of Yeo Reum's family.

Im Jin Ah: 17 years old. A girl with a unique sense of fashion. She's also a gifted dancer who is known in the school for her cute choreography.

Lee Soon Kyu: 17 years old. One of the most talented singers in Youngji's class who isn't afraid to show what she's got. 

Lee Gook Joo: 19 years old. She is Youngji's neighbor who never ceases to make her laugh.

Jo Se Ho: 19 years old. He is Gook Joo's roommate who helps her create gags and pranks to put on their classmates and neighbors, especially Yeo Bin. 

Otani Ryohei: 33 years old. He is the Japanese teacher who disciplines his students with an unsheathed katana.
