Foreword

Jongseok yawned and slid down further into the couch. It was a long day and he really didn't feel like working magic in the kitchen. The shower was going and the television was nothing more than a drone at the back of his mind. Youngjin had control of the television, not really watching anything himself. He was jsut channel surfing. Joonyoung had long since made his beeline for the shower, the water a muffled breath behind the door. Who knew what Hadon, their youngest, was doing. Probably sleeping like the dead.

Jongseok blinked slowly, unevenly as one eye opened after the other and a yawn nearly unhinged his jaw. They were all waiting for their newest edition to the home to show up. He was to show up at some point around eleven that night. After a particularly nasty run-in with some guys from Kirk Street, Jongseok was hard pressed to just go to bed and not greet the newest member. It wouldn't bode well if he did so, however, and he knew it. After all, he was the only one that spoke English well enuogh to communicate should the other person not be able to speak Korean.

He had no idea he was nodding off so badly until there was a specific knock on the door. The sudden silence in the room was enough to put him off balance. Youngjin had shut off the television, and it seemed that Joonyoung and Hadon had come into the room to watch TV for some time.

As leader, Youngjin rose from his seat and strode carefully but confidently toward the door. When the door opened, a set of small eyes peered up at Youngjin from beneath thick eyebrows and short brown hair. He looked down at something in his hand and looked back up at their leader before nodding and sliding something up and over the..whatever it was, handing another, smaller quadrilateral object to Youngjin.

Youngjin didn't break eye contact, taking the card and handing it over to Joonyoung before stepping aside -- a silent beckon to Jongseok.

"It says Hen..." Joonyoung started, but seemed to fall over the rest of the word. Jongseok took the card from the other on his way to the door, glancing over it quickly.

"Hi," the curly haired, doe-eyed man said, his English smooth and polite as he stepped forward. "Henry, is it?"

The newcomer smiled and replied in a light tenor, "That's me."

"Hurry up and invite him in," Youngjin grumbled in Korean, moving and settling back onto the couch. "I'm missing the rest of Paranoia Agent."

"Come on," Jongseok said, reaching for one of the two bags that sat on either side of Henry. "Let's get you settled in."
