Description

"After a long time, I'm back here right now.

Because I long for that time when I could wake up next to you.

The talks we had before as we looked into each other's eyes.

The stories that only we knew.

I can't erase them, throw them away, neither forget them.

Everybody seems to be happy and it seems that I'm the only one left in this loneliness.

I try to pretend that I'm not, but images of you keep floating in my mind.

If I wait for you, will I be able to see you?

Then, will I be able to tell you how I feel?

I miss you, always.

That's how I am, I only look at you.

Living without you makes me feel regret about everything else.

Just because you are not here, there are so many empy things.

The times we spent, the memories, they fall like stars.

And then tears fall again.

After all these years, I still love you.

But, do you?"

After struggling for 7 years in New York, being a single mother, Minah has finally come back to South Korea. She tries not to cross paths with her daughter's father. But it seems that faith has put on store a completely different story.

Foreword

"Come on Semi, we don't wan't to keep Auntie Carrie waiting, do we?" Minah asked 6 year old Semi who was happily her lollipop, which made them walk slowlier than usual.

Semi nodded, she wasn't a girl with a lot of words, just like her dad.

"SEMIII!" Carrie sprinted towards the little girl, embracing her tighltly.

"Auntie Carrie, I can't breath!" Semi wailed, Carrie was about to choke her with all her strength.

"You've grown so much." Carrie smiled and patted Semi's head. "Did you miss me?"

Semi mouthed a 'yes' quietly and shyly.

"I missed you too, friend." Minah sighed at the back. Whenever the 3 of them were together, she was always the outcast.

In this 7 years, Carrie would sometimes go back to New York to visit them. But she mainly stayed in Korea because of her work. Carrie had helped them in a lot of aspects and Minah was more than grateful. They had become great friends.

"Sorry, didn't notice you." Carrie stuck out her tongue playfully but still gave her a welcoming hug.

"So, did you come alone?" Minah asked as she pulled the trolley. They had just arrived at the airport. And Minah took a deep breath of Korea's fresh air. She hadn't been back for a long time, and she was glad that she was back for good.

"No, my boyfriend came to help with the luggages." Carrie smiled. "Oh there he is!"

Standing there was a handsome man, pretty tall and had a strong jawline. He was very slim but had toned muscles. This made Minah cringe, this sight was too familiar to her.

As she approached Carrie and the man, she was sure who that man was.

Minah grabbed her daughter's hand tightly.

"Sehun?"
