People around me always tell me that my power was useless, my power is for girls but no, I stick up to my power because it is very, very useful. Both of my parent got the same power as mine (obviously) but they never nagged so why should I? My power is literally not dangerous but, it could be dangerous if I want it to be. I never use my power against anyone before. I used it only for nature. Why?

I'm Earth.

Usually, people who have earth power spurts out sand from their hands or pull out grounds but I have that and –the reason people call my power is for girl – I can take out food from my hands. It's a very special gift, only certain of us could do it but only me who have this power, spurt sand and pull out grounds. I'm in a complete set.

I'm 18 when I come to Seoul and I am not hungry at all muahahahaha

WHO SAID MY POWER IS FOR GIRLS YOU DOUCHEPANTS!

I walked around the town and found the house my mom asked me to stays in. I was very lonely because I had to stay alone, so I put an paper which I wrote ‘a room to rent’ in front of my house –at the gate, to be exact – and I sprays the dust to make the paper can only be seen by one of us because of scared if human so I did that and that’s where I found L.Joe.

I hate ice, I hate water, I hate wind. That’s what my parent noticed when I turned 3. I coop up in my room for about 1 year because I hate outside and one day, I burned my room. I was so scared but thankfully, my dad put out the fire. He is water. My mum knew this happens because I got my power. She was hoping I’ll get my dad’s power but no, I get hers.

I'm Fire.

My dad trained me to like water, and I did. Slowly, little by little, I started to blend in with those 3 elements. I got normal, and I could control my power. I fire it out whenever I want and I could put the fire away too – that’s a bit upgraded – I'm fully powered because I'm untainted. I the fire to put it out and it was kind of useful –very useful –

Even so, I got my power but, slowly, little by little, my hair turns red. Really red making me looks weird in the first place. When I went to school, the other kids making fun of me and there’s this one time, my classroom teacher was very mad at me after she founds out my hair colour – I hide them with a beanie. And when I try to dye them black, they instantly turns back to red and it's annoys me a lot. I have to live like this for probably half of my life.

When I turned 16, I went to Seoul, to study and try to earn for the living. At first, I want to take a private tutor because I'm scared of what people going to say about my hair but fortunately, they never care and I went to a regular school instead. After a while, my house and Seoul is quite far am I’ve run out of portal glob so I decided to find a place to stay. I was walking around a neighborhood when I saw ‘a room to rent’ on the front of a house. It was a great big house so I'm a little bit afraid about the price but I take a shot to ask.

That’s where I met Yoseob.

 

Han Yejin

I am untainted, pure-blooded. My mum is air but, my father is a mind reader. My dad has to give up his power to marry my mum and finally, there’s me. One thing special about me that no one ever had, I’m both elements and mind controller. I control minds and I have ability. I'm a mind reader and,

I’m Wind.

Quite suit me actually. When I first got my power, I do wanted the wind but somehow one day, after I got the wind, I could hear voices and I almost gone mad because of that, dad had explained everything and he himself was really shocked when I get both powers. It's more like a mistake to have a person with two powers from the different region. Region? In this world of mine, there is 4 region over-all. There are titans, elements, mind-controller and the mutants. We can be together or even talks with each other especially us, elements and the mind controller. We are like a mutual enemy.

The reason I came to Seoul is to find my friend, Jimin. The popularity of a mind controller in Seoul is a lot and I'm scared if something happens to him because these ‘freaks’ love to these the half-blooded. I'm going to search for him and bring him home. But, as I arrived, things started to go the other ways around.

Late in the summer of my fifteenth year, I decided to get out of the house. Going to Seoul was always my childhood dream and obviously my mom was against it. She keeps on saying that ‘Seoul is not for us’ or ‘we belong here more. Human can't see you” I'm half human. We are not alien or a freak or anything beyond that, we are just ‘special’, obviously not a god or god’s child. It's like Harry Potter except no wand and spells. It came right inside us. We have to find it or we won't own it – sounded simple but hell no. for example, me.

I'm water.

I received my ability late because I'm half-blooded. Half-blooded didn’t received their ability right away because, the power itself have to choose whether to give us the power or let us live a normal life. And for me, I got the power and so, I have to control it. It was kind of unfortunate for us, half-blooded because we have to train them ourselves, not like the other kids, they trained it since they were a little child so, and they were really good at it. We live in a rural place, all the half-blooded live there because of our untamed power.

And so, with a very little trained power, I went to Seoul. It was such a nerve-wracking moment for me as I step onto it. Thankfully, no one saw my portal – it was a small ball where we used to teleport to anywhere we want. I got tons of them. And no, we can't fly. That’s another creature– I walked toward the subway with only just my backpack on my shoulder. As I entered, I'm lucky because there is one seat left. I sat down and open up my phone – of course we have mobile phones, we are not from mars. Duh – my sister called me a few times. I knew how worried she is, so I decided to call back.

Me: “hello?”

Jia: “Ya!! Ive called you a few times already! Mum is very worried! Where the heck are you???

Me: “don’t get mad or anything, but I'm in Seoul.

Jia: “WHAT???? You better get back here!”

Me: “ no! Jia I'm wanted to stay here!”

Jia: “humans are everywhere!”

Me: “they are not scary. Trust me”

Jia: “you better be good there or I’ll choke you till death.”

I hanged up. She was my older sister, Jia. She somehow, doesn’t have a power that’s why she goes for ‘choke you till death’ instead of ‘drowned you in my hands’ or ‘ill splashed you like you never had been splashed before’. It's only me who got this ability, ability that sometimes I couldn’t control. I let out a huge sigh before staring at the door. Suddenly, a young lady started to scream, more like raising her voice towards me.

“boy, there’s water underneath you!” she said. Everyone in the train was focusing on me and I'm freaked out. OF COURSE THAT’S MY WATER! Who else got a goddamn power here! I don’t have a suction power to all of this. It's not much until it can cause flood or anything but it still water. What type of water would suddenly pops out of nowhere? My palm was wet. See, I couldn’t control my power. I got so freaked out thinking they gonna find out what I am so, I got off from the train at the next stop. 

 

Kim Myungsoo

I was 6 when I got my power and I love it! I'm neither half-blooded nor untainted. Both of my parents were human, but my grandparents weren’t. this was kinda weird but, my parent were cursed with no power when grandpa and grandma did a sin back in their days – as my mother told me – it was said that the cursed will break if they had a son, and fortunately, I am their fifth child. Imagine how many baby girl they got before me. I have 4 noonas. My parents knew I’ll get the power so they were very cautious. And when ice started to grew on my hands, I honestly freaked out and so do my sisters, but then mum and dad tell me everything and I started to calm down. I was brought to my grandparent and they taught me one by one and slowly, I mastered it. oh, and.

I’m ice.

I have been living in Seoul since I'm a baby of course and when I'm 15, I have to go to school obviously and slowly living like a normal human except have ice on my hands. I can freeze water or cold down the house. Sometimes, we don’t need air conditioner because my family has me. But, behind those competences, I hate heat. I hate fire. Because I'm ice, obviously I will hate fire. It's hot and annoying and just so hot and unpleasant. And I hate summer. It's just not my cup of tea.

And I finally 17 so my parents asked me to get out of the house and try to live alone and here I am, on the street looking for a house to rent. As I pass through a supermarket, I found a house for rent. Wait.

‘for the special one’s renting houses’?

Omg this is one of me! I pull out the phone numbers that were attached on the flyer and look over at it. but then, I saw a hand reaching for the same flyer. I looked over and quickly asked, “do you have powers too? What are you?”

He looks so shocked. “h-how do you know?”

Um.. maybe because you were reaching for a flyer that only people like us could see? “because you could see the flyer.” I said. I was quite surprise that he have no idea only use could see. I want to say something I'm a little bit scared it could offense him,

“I'm half-blooded so there’s a lot I don’t know” he said. Oh good that what I wanted to ask obviously. Lol.

“I'm ice” I said. He smiles then shakes his hands with me.

“I'm water”
