Lady in The Court
Description
All gungnyeo - court lady - basically are tied for the rest of their life. From their entrance into the royal court and acceptance as the court lady, until they had to leave. No contact with the outside world is allowed, even just for seeing their family, it's hard to do. Despite that condition, being the court lady itself gives people an opportunity to have a better live, a stable income and to improve their family's dignity they said. Everyone is willing to do anything just to be a part of the gungnyeo, except one person.
Foreword
Back in Joseon era, court lady was part of the royal court. They took many roles inside the court. They all belongs to the King, sometimes if one of the court lady caught the King's attention, she can be the concubine.
