The world is full of secrets.

Since time immemorial, the Shifters have existed, keeping the forces of darkness at bay. Their souls are trapped in their animal form until they find their human side - a phase partner with whom they can bond, to meld a part of their soul to in order to unlock their true abilites and gain their human form.

In the present day, a group of five Shifters has banded together, lead by the human phase partner of The Commander, who was killed in battle some years before. While three of them have found their partners, Daesung and Seungri have yet to bond with a human and gain their human forms, and are thus trapped in their animal bodies until they do. Creeplings have begun to overrun the city, and the group knows that where Creeplings lead, bigger and nastier things will follow.

Rose Red is an ongoing story that follows the lives of these Shifters, their human phase partners, their meetings and partings, and their adventures together, for better or worse.
