Prologue;

Seohyun stares blankly into the candle flame in front of her. She checks her wrist watch for an umpteenth time. He is late again. He promises to meet her at 9, now it is 10:30. She rested her chin in her palm.

She blows her bang. Deciding to wait for another fifteen minutes. Typing a quick message to her personal driver, asking him to pick her up. When the clock strikes 10:45, she started towards the counter. Paying her meal. So much for a dinner date with her own fiance.

Joonmyun bumps into her on her way out of the elite restaurant. He is panting, sweats gliding down his forehead. Seohyun shakes her head. Disapproving his appearance. She walk pass him as if he is a total stranger. Joonmyun grab her wrist once they are outside.

“What with the cold shoulder?” He asked, disbelieve.

"I wish you could rely on me."

Author's Note: So I've been listening to this song on repeat. I guess because I love the melody and the lyrics is painfully beautiful that I'm too caught up with it. This song is the ending soundtrack of one of my most favourite anime, Saiounkoku Monogatari. Which is also quite angsty, if you observe on Shuurei and Ryuuki love story. But this is a historical anime, so yeah. And this new one-shot is a goodbye story before I sit for my public exam on 2/11/2014. This plot keep on haunting me in my everyday life that I could not focus on solving my Additionl Mathematics problem peacefully. So, here is my present!
