There was once a village built on the outskirts of a large forest. It was a quaint little place with, small cottages, some shops and a rich family who lived in a very large house on the hill. The town was completely average in most aspects, apart from one, The Wolf.

It was a very old village and few could remember where the stories originated, but tales of The Wolf  were frquently told in hushed voices around campfires. It was often said that the beast was large as a horse and lived deep in the dark woods, feasting only on the blood of beautiful s. They said it could rip a man apart before he screamed. No one had seen the wolf, and many claimed they were foolish tales told to scare children and keep them from wandering into the forest and getting lost. But the frequent howls prevented all but a few brave men from entering the woods unless they had too.

One of these brave men was a tall and handsome huntsmen, who frequently entered the woods and emerged without a scratch. The villagers greatly respected his fearless nature, and held him in high esteem. The other brave forest traveler was a young man, whose grandmother lived on the other side of the woods. He was small in stature with a beautiful face and he always wore a scarlet hooded cloak. He unnerved the villagers, and most believed him to be a fool because even the simplest villager knew, that the color of blood, called too The Wolf.
