Description

Jinah is a shy girl, nothing special about her. She isn't popular or particularly good looking or extremely smart or good at sports. Jinah is just Jinah. Except she plays piano, her slender fingers roaming over the black and white keys like they were meant to be there. Jackson is captivated by her. He is almost everything that she is not, popular, handsome, and good at sports. But there was always that one thing that was missing from his life, one thing that had never been there before. And the best part is, when he is with her, everything else seems not to matter.

Foreword

Jackson entered the room quietly, the melodious sounds of the piano tinkling through the air. He made sure that he closed the door quietly, not wanting to disturb her while she played. If she noticed, she didn't give any sign that she had heard him, she just kept playing, her fingers dashing over the keys in ways that he didn't understand.

Jackson stepped quietly towards her, sliding across the wooden bench to sit next to her and watch as she pressed the black and white keys down in rhythm. His eyes followed her hands, barely able to keep up with her. Suddenly, she stopped, turning to look at him as she gave a gentle smile.

He returned it as her arms wrapped around his neck in an embrace and his around her small waist. Jackson closed his eyes, never wanting to be rid of the moment but the time came too soon for him to let go. They withdrew from one another. "Why are you here, shouldn't you be in the weight room or something?"

"Well, I didn't feel like lifting," he simply stated, getting lost in her caramel eyes. She never thought that she was special, that she was perfect in any way, shape or form. But to him, she was everything and Jinah was perfect in his eyes. It didn't matter what anybody else said.
