Hyukjae's eyes opened slowly. The ceiling and bedspread looked familiar. It meant that he was in his own room then. Well, not exactly his room. It was the parallel Hyukjae's room, which sorta made his room right?

He grabbed his phone off the dresser and looked at the time. 7:32 am.

Hyukjae closed his eyes and delved into the mind of the present him that he was. Sifting through memories, Hyukjae skimmed through them like he was studying for an exam. It was almost like he was in the library really, looking for information that would tell him what this 'him' did for a living, what were his plans for the day, who he knew, who he didn't.

This version of him owned a patisserie, he noted with some pleasure. He did like them strawberry cakes. And he had dinner plans with his mom tonight, apparently. It would be nice to see her; he hadn't in awhile.

Just because he only had 24 hours in each body to do what he came here to do didn't mean that he could screw up all of these Hyukjaes' lives. Sometimes he succeeded, sometimes he didn't. 

He brushed his teeth, sifting through this Hyukjae's thoughts to see if he had plans for an outfit today. Apparently not. Hyukjae opened his wardrobe, perusing the clothes carefully. Mostly jeans, tees, sweaters; smart casual then. 

Pulling out a random pair of skinnies, a sweater and some high tops, Hyukjae checked his appearance before searching the apartment for his keys. Grabbing them and an apple out of the fridge, he dashed out of the house. 

Time to go find Donghae.
