Foreword

We first met when we were seven. We grew up in an orphanage. However, due to the abuse we had received from the caretakers we decided to runaway together. Ever since then we formed a special bond. We looked out for each other, we fed each other and we defended each other.

Our relationship is different from everyone else’s. People often misunderstood us. We were neither siblings nor friends. We weren’t lovers either, but we knew deep in our hearts that we were attracted to each other. None of us ever admitted it though. I guess it’s because we didn’t want to destroy our special bond.

Sometimes I have this urge to tell him how I truly feel. I wonder if he ever had the urge to tell me how he truly feels about me. Sometimes I wish we could just forget about our special bond and just take the risk. I wish there would be a time when we can just freely express how we truly feel about each other.

But I wonder……….I wonder if that time will ever come.
