Prologue

Present Day

Saturday morning was always the best morning of the week Taeyeon thought. The young lad stood in a modern looking kitchen staring out the window as he took a sip of his coffee. His eyes scanned the backyard looking at the garden he spent hours working on with the love of his life. The thought of her brought a smile on his face. The more he thought about her, the more his mind wandered to the journey he went through to get to this point of his life. His teeth gleamed as the corner of his lips stretched across his face. He was happy, happy to be at this point of his life.

Getting lost in his reflection, arms slowly slipped across his waist, pulling him towards a young female’s body. A young blonde held him closely as she hugged his bare torso. Small slender fingers slowly slid up his stomach reaching to the scar that stretched across his lower chest. She slightly grazed her fingers across the scar, remembering how exactly and how much it meant to the man she loved. Lightly kissing his shoulder blade, she placed her chin on his shoulder and looked at his side profile.

“Why is my baby in such deep thought?” she questioned as she looked at Taeyeon.

“Oh well... I’m just thinking,” he smiled as he turned around the face her.

“What is my baby thinking about? Thinking is bad...”

“Not this time. I’m thinking about how we met... how we fell in love... how we got to now,” he whispered as he stared into her eyes, leaning in to kiss her gently on the lips.

Heat raised to her cheeks as she kissed him back, “I love you”

“And I love you too babe, to infinity and beyond remember?”

“To infinity and beyond,” she grinned pulling him in for another kiss.
