"I will wait for you!"

His voice is still stuck in your head, after all these years. The irony is, you haven't heard that voice for years. You weren't even sure if you remembered it correctly. All you're sure of is: you can't forget. After all, he was the only one you trusted. The only one you ever really cared for. Sounds stupid right? I mean, who would take a 10 year old's words seriously? Especially when they claimed they would wait for you.

To you though, it's not stupid. Not in the slightest. Because he's been your best friend for years. You've known him since you were five, although you two only started talking when you were 6. He's only 2 years older than you. So he feels just about right to be a big brother. But now, you're not so sure of that. Because unbeknownst to him, you've always dreamed of marrying him. He just felt like 'the one'.

So foolish. You don't even know where he is right now. You haven't seen him for 10 years. 10 long years. His family moved; you guys used to be neighbours. He didn't even bother to say a single word.

Oh Sehun, where are you? were all she thought of every night.

"You're the best!"

He can still barely remember her hugging him, crying happily in his arms. He can't remember being any happier than that day. But he doesn't even remember how long it's been. He tries his best not to remember, but even he can't stop himself from thinking about her once in a while.

The photograph still lay on his bedside table. He was pulling her braided hair and she was looking up at him, trying to look annoyed. They looked very happy nonetheless. She may not know it, but the only reason he's been able to get through all the hard times he experienced, was because of her.

I wish I could find my way back to you is all he thinks about, but he knows if he does, there would be that risk again.

Story:

You are Park Jiho and you were once best friends with Oh Sehun. You guys did everything together. Although you thought your friendship would be forever strong throughout the years, your parents' sudden decision to take up a job offer in America separated you from him, and ultimately, your friendship was put to the test.

Now, it's been 10 years. You're turning 18 years old this year, and he's already 20. You've been back for 5 years, but apparently, you haven't heard a single thing about him. You don't see him at the old playground, or the shopping malls, or at the subway stations. The only reason you're even back here is to find him, but that isn't working out too well. But then again, you can't complain. You can still have a good life now. You can still make new friends. But you're not particularly that social. Which makes moving to a new school all the more harder.

But at this school, you meet someone new, someone bright and bubbly whose positivity is so infectious: Park Chanyeol. He is probably the only one who can help you get your mind of Oh Sehun- until you realize that he goes to your school too. After 10 years, you finally get to see him again.

What is there to both friendships? Just simple 'friends', or something much more?
