A Call from Grandma

I slowly opened my eyes , all my strength was drained out , I felt weak and tired at the same time . " Jae Mi ah , are you OK ? " I heard IU asked as she grabbed my hand . I gave her a slight nod with a weak smile as an answer .
I was already back in my bedroom . I looked around the room as everyone started crowding around my bed . Hyun Joong oppa , IU , HyungSeung oppa , GiKwang oppa , Yoseob , Dong Woon and JunHyung oppa too .
" Oh, you are finally awake ! We were all worried sick ... " GiKwang oppa heaved a sigh of relief as I sat up on my bed .
" Don't worry , I'm fine ... " I said , trying to reassure them .
" Jae Mi ah ... " I turned to face JunHyung oppa as he sat down on the side of my bed . " I'm sorry , Jae Mi ah , I shouldn't have shouted at you yesterday ... HyunSeung has already explained everything to me ... " I quickly gave him a nod and turned to Hyun Joong oppa .
I saw from the corner of my eyes that JunHyung oppa lowered his head in disappointment when I turned away from him without saying anything . I know I must had hurt his feelings but there's something that cannot wait , something that's much more important then that ...
" Hyun Joong oppa ... " My voice trembled " Where ... is Jae Jin oppa ? " I asked as a my eyes starts to water , fearing that answer is what I expected .
" I know you can't take it but Jae Jin didn't survive through the car accident ... " My tears flowed down that instant and I started crying out loud . I didn't know what else I could do ... My parents , they just died in a plane crash yesterday ... And now ? My only brother is also dead !
I can't believe this , I can't , how can my whole family die in just two days ?! My parents , my brother , now , all of them are gone , and I'm all alone ... What else can I do , other than cry ? I lied down again , burried my face into my pillow and cried my heart out . I fell asleep crying ... Why is all this happening to me ?

It's tuesday morning and I am still at home . I didn't go to school today . How can I go ? My parents and brother are all dead , how can I still have the strength to study ? Just then , IU came into the room and hand me the phone " Jae Mi ah , your grandma wants to talk to you ... "

" Don't worry about the plane ticket , I've told Hyun Joong to buy it for you , I'll repay him the money next time we meet ... The plane ticket will be thursday , so you'll have one day to bid goodbye to your friends ... I'll go to the airport to fetch you so you just need to pack up your things and prepare to come over , don't worry about other things , I'll have it planned for you ... "
Haiz , why is all this happening to me ? They are not even asking for my opinion , they are just informing me . I know what grandma said is right but how can I leave everything here behind ? And there's still JunHyung oppa ... Even though we've argued , I still like him a lot , how can I just give him up like this ? We have just made up yesterday ... And all those who cared about me , all my friends who had stayed by my side all the time I'm here ... IU , HyunSeung oppa and GiKwang oppa ...
How can I tell them that I'll be leaving on thursday ? Especially JunHyung oppa ... What should I do ?

" I apologized as a tear rolled down my cheeks , I'm really thankful for all my good friends for helping me and staying by my side , comforting me all this while ... I would really miss them and ... I was lying on my bed , staring at the ceiling , thinking about all the fun times I have with my family 2 years ago when appa and umma haven't went overseas to work yet ... Those times were very happy and blissful ... How I wish I could return to those times ... My eyes became watery and my vision blurred .
Just then , I heard noise coming from downstairs , I guessed IU came home ... I wiped away my tears and sat up on my bed . IU burst into the room " Jae Mi ah , look who's here ? "
IU step aside and Yoseob , GiKwang oppa , Dong Woon and HyunSeung oppa came into the room . They walked to my bed side and Yoseob said " We knew you would be upset that's why we came to cheer you up ! "
I gave them a small smile and GiKwang oppa continued " We've bought some ice-creams ! Let's eat it ! It will help to cheer you up ! " GiKwang oppa took some ice-cream cones out of the plastic bag .
" We've bought chocolates too ! " Dong Woon said .
" We can watch the comedy shows which we've rented while we eat those ! " HyunSeung oppa exclaimed while IU nodded her head and continued " Jae Mi ah , cheer up , you have to get over it sooner or later ... "
I gave them a smile and said " Can you wait here for a while ? I have something to take care of for now ... " They look at me curiously while I ran out of the room . I need to inform JunHyung oppa about me leaving the country on thursday ...
