Taeyeon is the girl from two floors up. Her hair looks like chocolate and she smells like coffee. She rushes down the stairs on mondays and takes the elevator on tuesdays. On wednesdays, she works the whole day at the cafe in front of the building; on thursdays she stays at home. Fridays, she's gone; saturdays, she's back. Sundays are her laundry days. Everyday she's someone new, and everyday Do Kyungsoo falls even harder.

The thing with liking the girl from two floors up, however, is that there always seems to be something that gets in their way. Like awkward conversations. Spilled coffee. Annoying best friends. Nosy neighbors.

And don't even get him started on those godforsaken stairs. Do Kyungsoo hates stairs.
