messages, countdowns, messages, countdowns. this is seriously getting REALLY annoying. all the new roleplays nowadays start with countdowns and messages of promises and thoughts of what? wanting the old roleplay world back? well, let me get straight to the point. these are all bulls. promises of wanting a long-lasting family? a friendly enviroment? i do think it's nice to see dedicated admins spending all their times on writing messages, putting their feelings and hopes and wishes and whatsoever and shove everything up their oh-so-new roleplay and wait and wish and demand others to what? check everything out? oh yeah. CHECK US OUT, PLEASE? HEART SHAPE HERE. and what again? oh yeah. subscribers and oh yeah cOMMENTS WOOHOO. do you know what i honestly think of this? ing thirst for fame. once the roleplay is opened, and boom boom pow. it dies. everything dies. why? because some roleplayers' thirst for otps and chasing biases are so ing high nowadays and everyone is biased, biased oh yeah and wait. ING BIASED. and eventually, everyone gets lazy and stop coming on and join another roleplay and the recycle continues. sure, some roleplays last and i'm happy for them but some admins ( i can actually point out who but nah because i don't want to throw them up the toilet of shame ) just need to stop because one, you promise a forever on first roleplay and then, not even after a week, you create another roleplay and abandon the first or close it with such bull excuses. and whAT? wANTING THE OLD ROLEPLAY WORLD BACK? well. let me shove this up your senses. i'm a roleplayer from 2011 myself and sure, i miss those old times, the awesome roleplayers and the best evironment of the roleplay world but those are memories. do you think it's possible to bring it back? NO. just step into the reality. things change, everything changes. those are memories. everyone is different now. no matter how hard you try, all the roleplayers try, nothing, i really mean NOTHING will change the roleplay world now so please. just. ing. stop. with. all. your. messages. and lastly, countdowns? the constant updates? well your patience. it's so ING frustrating to wait. ok. do you want me to put my frustration into words? well your answer. the frUSTRATION IS LIKE I WANT TO BE KAI OH YES KAI HNG AND WHAT? I WAIT FOR THE ROLEPLAYS TO OPEN AND WOOHOO THEY OPEN AND WHAT???????? kai is reserved just 0.000000001 seconds before me and woohoo my patience just went flying out to pluto and is having with aliens. woohoo. wOOHOO.
the point is JUST ING STOP THE COUNTDOWNS AND MESSAGES AND JUST STOP. THEY ARE ING STUPID, POINTLESS. JUST ING GO BACK TO THE OLD TIMES WHEN YOU OPEN, ROLEPLAYERS CAN RESERVE FREELY WITHOUT FEELING DISAPPOINTED THEIR CHARACTERS ARE TAKEN WITHIN 0.0000000000001 SECONDS BECAUSE THEY. DIDN'T. HAVE. TO. ING. WAIT.

although i thought the same when all of the rps started popping out with the countdowns and paragraphs, this is really - wow. everyone below has p much said what i want to say. the countdowns are great for time, obv. and the messages are like, what to expect yadayada. although i've only done the countdown/paragraph once and only had it set for two days bc i already had the layout done and was just busy with rl stuff, it was nice to see people reserving early and actually wANTING to join. as an admin, it made me feel nice inside i guess?? people joined and were active, and stayed for a while.
and yes yes yes everything changes. the old roleplay world will never be the same bc the people, like us, who roleplayed from 2011 'til now, crave for how it was back then. now you, little one, need to step into this reality. people are going to do what they want. say what they want. just like you are about this subject. they want to put up a countdown? THEY CAN. they want to put a paragraph for what to expect from the roleplay or their desires/wishes? THEY CAN. and you're going to complain about roleplays dying? honey, everything dies. yeah, some roleplays may become inactive faster than others but ??? that's just how it is. i cant count how many roleplays of mine have died - two, three weeks into it. it's literally just how it is. admins can't choose whether or not the members become inactive - but yeah, it's their job to clear them out and allow other people to play the parts. but oh?? people don't want to join??? oh well. that's how it is. you just get over it.
biased people - you sure that's everyone? cause, i'm 200% sure i'm not lmao. and yeah, about these roleplay rants. you can do this in a blogpost instead of making a whole thread about it and clogging up the roleplay tags. is annoying.

and wow..... people ... disappointed that "their characters" are taken.... " THEIR CHARACTERS " lmao. it's not theirs??? booinghoo, they can bE SOMEONe else for pete's sake.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but what's wrong with wanting fame? People advertise, do all sorts of things and whatnot so that people can join. You know what that means right? It makes their roleplay active. I know because I'm an admin myself. There's honestly nothing wrong with that. It's your bad luck if the character you want is taken straight away. lmfao. Don't mind me- I agree with some parts

i must say i have been a roleplayer since 2009, outside of asianfanfics until 2011, and honestly i don't have much of a problem of your opinion. but then again, your words did hurt me quite a lot. for your information, i have a roleplay with teasers, graphics and messages and promises, sure it's for advertising but considering the fact that you've told us to snap back into reality i have a statement for you : hello, advertisement is the key to modern day society. i suggest you think about what you state before you state it, and also what's wrong with advertising? nothing, we're not forcing people to join, we're merely suggesting to them sort of like : hey, we're new! come and try us out. and speaking of memories and how roleplay can't be brought back, news flash - they can if one has the heart and faith to do it. what you can't open your mind to is that this entire world is built out of the belief that one can achieve what they want if they so desire it.

as for the messages we post up, some of us are just trying to reach out to others so that connections can be made. as for countdowns, some just want others to feel that same sensation of excitement in my case i put up a countdown because i need to calculate the time i need before i open it and what better way to have things timed and prepared. teasers? maybe it's something we like, maybe we want to share our creations with others. graphics? again, to give the viewer a new sense of imagination.

and excuse me? roleplays die as soon as they open? well, darling, with the belief that you have of course they ing will seeing as though you've got zero faith and that is what drags a roleplay down. technically, it's an admins job to moderate and control the roleplay thread and the roleplayer(s) job to make the place a family. you have no right to blame admins, who sacrifice their time and health to make a roleplay somewhere people can retreat to. thanks for ruining my day, ciao.

you know what's really annoying though? the sudden influx of roleplay rant threads these days. the "first" one was alright. the second one was questionable. and now, it's just an eyesore. it's not like the message hasn't been repeated countless of times. you're tired of countdowns and messages and empty promises. we get it. sure. that's nice. thanks for sharing.

but now it's just tiring to say those very people complaining about it excessively. isn't it hypocritical? what's the point of making a new thread anyway? attention? karma points?

the point is, just "ing"(as you put it nicely) stop the rant threads and "confessions" and just stop. they are also ing stupid (and) pointless. just shut up and take several seats because the admins are not at fault that certain roleplayers are popular to the point where you can't reserve them on time. if someone else beat you to it, it's just too ing bad. no point getting riled up about it and blaming the countdowns. that's just dumb, sorry to say.

also, of course roleplays want fame. how else are they going to gain members? they need to be known so that people will join. if nobody knows about them, how are they going to get members? isn't it a necessity?
