The Time Watcher From Aetas

Description

Celo Hora’s normally peaceful life as a Watcher of Time is suddenly disrupted, when a citizen of Nusquam, called Lux Lucis, manages to get inside the walls of Aetas and use the world ponds to teleport himself into the world of Terra, also called earth; the place watched over by Celo Hora.

To prevent, the already disrupted, balance of Terra going completely off the rails with consequences of it doing so unknown, Celo Hora travels to Terra and with the help of fellow Watchers of Time try to catch Lux Lucis, before it is too late.

During her mission on Terra, she meets the cheery, maybe a bit crazy, Baekhyun, his friends tagging along for the ride.

Foreword

Humans. Such fragile creatures, such fragile unknowing creatures. They live, thinking themselves as the supreme rulers of the earth that they come from, of course knowing full and well what is ‘best’ for the rest of the planet. Funny, don’t you think? They think of themselves as above other animals, going to the point where some refuse to even recognize the human race as such. An animal species. What makes them better than normal animals? They may have an higher IQ, they may be able to create things of wonder, however with wonder comes the things of destruction and horror they have created or stood behind. They’ve slaughtered each other, they’ve waged war against each other, creating weapons of mass destruction to do so, they’ve destroyed much of the once very beautiful nature around them, how can they claim themselves to be such amazing civilised creatures? Don’t get me wrong, still there is incredible and beautiful nature on earth, though one could wonder how long that’ll last.

Imagine an hourglass, a gigantic hourglass where the sand has travelled towards the bottom of it for longer than one could ever imagine, showcasing the time that remains until the world, as humans know it, disappears, goes under. It was once a grand sight, the glass shining without a single scratch on the surface to be seen, the sand glowing as if it were stardust when it made its way towards the bottom, the glass being held up by what looked like gold, enhancing the view of it to what humans would call worthy of a god, like it was created by the god or gods of theirs. The gold had now lost its former shine, looking dull to that of its former appearance and glow, there had appeared cracks along the glass, sand seeping out from some of them, quickening the inevitable end of the earth. For all this, sadly the humans were mainly the ones to blame. Never in my life, that reached over multiple creations and destructions of other worlds, had I seen a single race cause so much destruction and harm to the place where they lived, where they resided. Never had I seen a single race so keen on destroying, instead of protecting, their surroundings.

You are probably wondering now what I am, what kind of creature has lived through the destruction and creation of so many worlds? Most people call my kind the Watchers of Time. We exist in a place called Aetas, each of us watching over a world from its creation to its end, making sure no life from other worlds or from Nusquam make its way into the world under our observation or protection of sorts if you will. How one of my kind comes into existence is unknown, all we know is that a Watcher first appears at the altar found in the center of Aetas named Creo Vita, it is also where we are informed of when a new world is being created, and who should watch over it. A Watcher does not age after appearing at Creo Vita, looking exactly as they were when they were born as a Watcher of Time, whether they have what humans would perceive to be an elderly appearance or a childlike appearance. All a Watcher of Time knows when they are first born is a name and the knowledge of what they are meant to do. Their calling.

As for who I am, I can be summed up quickly. My name is Celo Hora, a female Watcher of Time currently watching over Earth, or as Watchers of Time like to call it Terra.

A/N: Okay, so I came up with this idea quite... randomly and decided to give it a shot and see how it would go. Please, be aware that English isn't my first language, and there's bound to be mistakes(especially with commas), though it would be appreciated if you point out if I've made some huge mistake, so I can correct it. ^_^

I apoligise if there are any huge similarities between other stories(though I hope there isn't), and they aren't there purposefully.

Comments on what I could improve(as well as what should stay, I guess you could say) in this story will be appreciated! ^^
