So. First things first:

I'm gonna give you guys some pictures so you know how I picture everything (you can picture your own if you want, but this is just how the author sees stuff :P)

But the far wall would just be one bit window/sliding glass door to lead out to a balcony, with a thick curtain to pull over it to block light or whatever.

And.. Okay. There is this thing that I do with my little brother where when I go to wake him up, I kinda use the back of my finger/fingers to move down his cheek. I kinda put that into this story (you'll see) and it looks something like this:
