Chapter 24

Jessica went home for dinner as promised. She met Eunhyuk by chance at the elevator. 

"I'm going to give this to Hyoyeon. Is she around?" He was holding a huge bouquet.

"Neh.." Jessica tried not to laugh for she thinks she knows what might happen.

The doorbell buzzed and Hyoyeon knew it's Jessica so she opened it immediately, but she saw Eunhyuk instead of her.

"What are you doing here?" Hyoyeon knocked his stomach before he could answer.

Jessica finally appeared and helped Eunhyuk get up. "He's just here to bring you flowers."

Eunhyuk gave the flowers to Hyoyeon . He thought of running away as fast he can as soon as she held the bouquet.

"Wait! Come inside." Hyoyeon spoke softer.

 He smiled and greeted everyone."Everybody, Hyuk just gave me flowers." Hyoyeon placed the flowers on the table and proceeded to the kitchen. The SoShi girls clapped in unison.

"You are one brave soul Eunhyuk. Really brave... " Sunny clapped really hard.

Tiffany shook his hand. "Goodluck!"

"WOW! It looks delicious! I arrived just in time!" The girls sat on their proper chairs and Euhnyuk joined them.

"Just in time to get out of my seat." Hyoyeon pulled his collar and dragged him away. "No one is allowed to sit on my chair."

"Hyuk, just get a chair on the living room." Yuri said. Eunhyuk proceeded to get a chair.

"Hyo, try to be nice to him. He gathered all his courage just to get here and give you flowers." Taeyeon pitied him.

Hyoyeon spoke indifferently "Arasso, I'll try."

"Hey Hyuk, sit between me and Hyo." Sooyoung insisted. Hyoyeon looked at her fiercely but she acted as if she saw nothing.

Eunhyuk tried to feed her some lettuce rolls "Here Hyoyeon, say 'aaaah'" she tried to resist by making another lettuce roll for herself.

"Unnie, Hyuk-oppa made one for you already. Come on, say 'aaaaaaaaahh..'" Yoona ignored the dancing queen's glaring eyes and kept on pushing her. "Unnie, "aaaaaaaaahhhh..'"

Hyoyeon finally opened her mouth and allowed Eunhyuk to feed her. "Good girl."

Seohyun joined the craze."Hyo-unnie, why not make one for Hyuk-oppa too?" The older girls nodded.

Hyoyeon ran out of options. She made a lettuce roll for Eunhyuk. "Say 'AAAAAAHHH'" She faked a smile.

Eunhyuk almost choked as she fed him with a huge chunk of food, but he still smiled as he tried to chew it. "GOOD BOY!"

Eunhyuk bade goodbye after joining them for dinner. All the girls laughed at Hyoyeon when he left.

"YAH! What are you laughing at, huh? Sooyoung, clean the table. As for you Yoona and Seohyun, wash the plates and pans!" The three maknaes held their napes and went back to the kitchen.

"That's Hyoyeon's sweet revenge.." Tiffany chanted.

"Not all guys could do what Eunhyuk did!" Jessica snapped.

"Yeah, right." Hyoyeon went sarcastic. She held her bouquet and went in her room.

Hyoyeon thought deeply. Jessica's words kept on resounding in her head. Not all guys could do what Eunhyuk did. She'll never forget the last time she received flowers on their trainee days. A co-trainee approached her during breaktime and shyly handed flowers to her. His voice was trembling when he spoke, "Hyoyeon, I like you!" The guy fainted after confessing his true feelings for her. Other trainees were shocked to see the incident. From then on, a lot of trainees grew scared of Hyoyeon. Though there were some who obviously liked her, they never dared to approach her personally.

"Hyuk is one brave soul indeed." Hyoyeon smiled and adored the flowers.

She was not aware that the other girls were peeking at her door. They felt glad when they saw her smiling. They exchanged high-fives with each other with one thought in mind: Hyoyeon likes Eunhyuk too!

"I'll be back in two hours." Hyoyeon wore her jacket and left. It has been a week since Eunhyuk visited.

"What's wrong with that woman?" Yuri frowned.

"Peek at the window! Palli!" Taeyeon followed the other girls as they tiptoed on the couch. They saw Hyoyeon crossing the street and went straight to a man leaning on a motorcycle. It was Eunhyuk!

"Hyo-unnie's meeting up with Hyuk-oppa!" Seohyun exclaimed.

They were surprised with what they saw; Hyoyeon wore a helmet on, sat on the motorcycle, and ask Eunhyuk to sit behind her. Eunhyuk wasn't properly seated yet when the motorcycle sped off.

"She's still fierce." Sunny remarked.

"We didn't call her Hyoraengi for nothing!" Tiffany added.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"  Eunhyuk screamed continuously.

Hyoyeon was driving pretty fast. "Shut up and hold tight!"

Eunhyuk gulped. He doesn't want to make her angry and he gasped for air because of nervousness.

They drank Macchiato at a coffee shop. Afraid of causing trouble, they wore caps to hide their faces.

"So tell me Hyukjae, why do you like me?" Hyoyeon was very frank.

"Well, you caught my attention when I first saw you dancing. You're beautiful and gifted. I mean for someone to be able to use both her left and right hands equally. That's pretty cool. You also have a strong personality." Eunhyuk honestly answered. "Oh! One more thing, when we were riding my motorcycle."

"Yeah, what about that?"

His face turned serious."You took my breath away Hyoyeon."

She laughed out of corniness. "Nice one Hyuk!"

"You have one of the sweetest smiles." Enuhyuk marvelled on Hyoyeon's gaze as she laughed. "I like your toughness, but when I look in your eyes, something tells me you're a sweet and gentle girl." He looked straight at her.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I'm afraid of you. But my love for you is much greater."

Hyoyeon felt his sincerity. "Jinjja? You love me? For real?" She cleared her throat.

"I really really love you, forever and a day." Eunhyuk smiled with his sparkling eyes.

Hyoyeon's stoic heart melted when she saw him smiling. "Okay, let's meet again. I have to go home now." she checked the time.

"Does that mean we're dating?" Eunhyuk can't believe what she said.

"Wae? You don't like it?" Hyoyeon smiled and winked.

Eunhyuk was so happy that he could almost feel dizzy and nauseatic.

"Oh no, please don't faint!" Hyoyeon held his shoulders and helped him walk steadily.
