Chapter 105

Another busy day for Kim Hyoyeon; A rehearsal for her dance routine, first day of classes in fashion school, a trip to a boutique to help Yoona decide on her wedding dress, and a meetup with Lee Hyukjae.

 

“Two down, two to go!” The dancing queen waltzed through the boutique’s glass doors. “Kim Hyoyeon in the house, yo!”

 

Sunny gave her a random high-five. “Just in time, Yoongie’s getting dressed.”

 

“So how’s fashion school?” Tiffany paused from scanning a catalogue.

 

Hyoyeon sat beside her to talk. “Well…“

 

Jessica dashed near them when she heard what they’re talking about.

 

“Babe!” Jonghyun was alarmed when his wife was out of his side. “You’re going to give me a heart attack!”

 

“Chill!” The ice princess sneered and pointed to her round belly. “They’re still here, and I’m so sure they’re not going to come out today.” Her husband turned from easy-going to a worrywart as the twins’ due date comes closer.

 

“Sssh!” Yuri was cradling two-month old Yonghyun on her arms. “I’m trying to put this little boy to sleep.”

 

Everybody stopped when the curtain started to open.

 

“What do you think?” Yoona wore a wedding gown with elegant beadwork.

 

Taeyeon shook her head. “Honestly, you look prettier than the gown itself; you must find another one that would compliment your beauty.”

 

“Arasso.” The beautiful girl asked to close the curtains again.

 

For the second time, she tried an A-cut wedding dress with soft white feathers on its trail.

 

Everyone seemed to be pleased except for Sooyoung. “Yoong, that one may be nice, but just imagine how many white chickens were murdered to put feathers out there. Chickens, oh boy… I’m famished.”

 

Hyoyeon flicked the tall girl’s forehead. “You’re so stupid! They didn’t slaughter white chickens for that gown!  You always think about food, food, and food!”

 

Yoona had a good-feel on the third wedding gown. “I think I found the right one!”

 

 

“Wah! You look like a princess, unnie.” Seohyun’s pureness was never gone.

 

No one protested, and from the looks on their faces one could tell they were more than satisfied.

 

“You’re not coming with us?” Yoona decided to give them a Dutch treat.

 

Hyoyeon grinned on the beautiful girl. “Hyukjae-oppa’s waiting for me. Promise, I’ll go next time. “

Eunhyuk excitedly showed his girlfriend a newly constructed dance studio. “Welcome to my dreamland.”

 

“Wah, this is daebak!” She seemed like a child running around the dance floor.

 

He played a sweet love song and asked her to dance. “Let’s get it on!”

 

“I hope we can dance together more often.” She sighed.

 

The guy stuck his forehead to hers. “Why not? We have this place to hang out now.”

 

“Maybe after the dance competition. I must stay really focused.”

 

“Tell your partner not to be so touchy. My eyes almost fell out when I watched your last episode. Honestly, I want to chop off his hands.” Eunhyuk frowned.

 

Hyoyeon giggled. “Jealous much? We have to do that for art’s sake, nothing more.”

 

The music changed to an upbeat tune.

 

“Come on oppa! Let’s shuffle!”

 

My girl is one mean dancing machine! He started to move his head in tune with the beat. “Arasso.”

 

The couple enjoyed dancing together until they tire their hearts out.

 

“I’m exhausted.”Eunhyuk sat and leaned on the mirror. “I’m getting old.”

 

“Come on…” Hyoyeon sat beside him. “You’re getting better and better!”

 

Whoa, she looks incredibly beautiful today. Jjang! He didn’t notice he was staring to her for so long. “And you’re getting lovelier and lovelier.”

 

“Aww. Let me hug you!” She opened her arms. “Gomawo.”

 

He was very happy to receive her embrace. “Saranghae.”

 

The lights went out.

 

“Omona!” Hyoyeon screamed and hugged him tighter. “What are we gonna do now?”

 

Eunhyuk rubbed her back. “It’s okay. Relax.” He sounded so sure and calm. “Wah, look up the ceiling!”

 

She doubted at first but she knew he won’t do anything to scare her.

 

 

“Kim Hyoyeon, will you?” The lights turned on and revealed Eunhyuk holding a diamond ring. “This dreamland will be incomplete without you by side, my dream girl.”

 

The dancing queen cried like a fool. “Of course! You silly!”

 

His hands trembled while placing the ring on her finger. ”I’m nervous.”

 

I’m spinning around, rocking around like a diamond… A joyous melody played on Hyoyeon’s mind. “I love you Lee Hyukjae.”

 

“At last we can go home now.” Kyuhyun made his way towards the door followed by Donghae, Yesung, and Ryeowook. “Congratulations, dancing royalties!”

 

“Yah yah yah!” Eunhyuk shouted. “It ain’t over yet! Wanna die?!”

 

Donghae slouched. “Mwo? We almost grew roots on our armpits when you told us to put those glowsticks up the ceiling!”

 

“I risked my life to pull that circuit breaker so you could pull your act!” Yesung complained.

 

“And I mopped the floor because they won’t do it!” Ryeowook added.

 

Hyoyeon raised her eyebrow. “What’s the fuss?”

 

Eunhyuk slightly leaned over her and murmured. “We played Starcraft II and I won. As losers, they have to be my slaves for a day.” He shot a death glare to the boys and asked them to come near him. “Donghae and Yesung-hyung, massage our backs; Ryeowook, buy us snacks; and Kyuhyun, keep us entertained.”

 

She blocked herself between the guys. “Hyukie-oppa, what did I tell you about saying ‘Please’? And as for the rest of you oppas, do your best next time if you don’t want to be a slave again.”

Hyoyeon can’t help but glance on her diamond ring with sparkling eyes.

 

“It fits you perfectly.” Complimented Donghae who was gently pressing her shoulders.

 

Eunhyuk took pride after his statement. “But of course! I teamed up with Heechul to find the perfect ring! That guy has an eye for jewelry.”

 

“How did you come up with this proposal?” Yesung asked out of curiosity.

 

The guy laughed sheepishly. “I just don’t want my Hyoyeon to see my body shaking as I propose so I thought of doing it on the dark. I would have fainted if the lights were on.”

 

“Very well said, anchovy.” Kyuhyun chuckled.

 

“And who told you to stop singing? Do it over!” Eunhyuk snapped. “Don’t stop until I say so.”

 

Hyoyeon nudged her boyfriend. “Isn’t that too harsh?”

 

The commotion stopped when Eunhyuk arrived. “Have some snacks. Anything more?”

 

The dancing king shook his head. “You may rest now. And since my queen said making our maknae sing was too harsh, Kyuhyun may stop. He will feed us instead.”

 

“Bwo?!?” Kyuhyun was astonished. “But… but…”

 

“But losers and losers!” Eunhyuk emphasized. “We’re waiting.” He left his mouth wide open.

 

In the end, Kyuhyun still followed his command. He obediently fed the dancing royalties.

 

“I’m so sure that evil guy will ask for a rematch later.” Yesung murmured.

 

Donghae giggled. “You bet. Lee Hyukjae must do his best or he’ll be asked to do worse things.”

 

“But what if we lose again?” Ryeowook wondered.

 

Hyoyeon slyly smiled. “In that case, it’s plain and simple. You’ll buy us round trip first class plane tickets for our honeymoon.”

 

Eunhyuk proudly kissed her lips. “You heard it. That’s my girl.”
