Chapter 1

 

“Yah! Do it properly!” Sooyoung folded her arms as she flashed her eyes toward the tanned girl. They have been rehearsing since 8 in the morning and Yuri’s having a hard time grasping the routine, she’s trying really hard though.

 

Taeyeon was patient. She smiled and patiently stood beside her. “Again, again...”

 

“You’ve always been like that way back on our trainee days.” Jessica snapped. She was leaning on the air conditioner with sleepy eyes.

 

The girls decided to go home after long hours of practicing.

 

“You guys go ahead. I’ll still practice.”

 

“Unni, will you be alright? I’ll stay with you if you want.” Seohyun’s sweet and caring nature never failed to cheer Yuri up.

 

“Don’t worry. I’ll be safe here.” She tapped the young girls back and bade the girls goodbye.

Little by little, she was able to master the routine as she worked alone. “Finally!”

 

“Superb!” Someone clapped behind her back. She never noticed someone watching her so she looked back to where the clapping was heard.

 

“Minho!” exclaimed Yuri.

 

The guy passionately grinned as he walked near her.” I’ve been watching you for about five minutes, noona. You’re so persistent.”

 

“As an idol I need to be at my best, especially to us girls because we need to maintain our image.”

 

Minho handed a bottle of water to her. “You deserve a reward for your hard work.”

 

“Thanks.” Yuri gulped her drink in no time.

 

“You must be very tired, would you mind if I drive you home?” Minho has been very kind to her ever since but she never took advantage.

 

“I’m perfectly fine. I could go home all by myself. Thanks for the offer anyway.”

 

He raised his shoulders and shyly nodded. “Okay. How about a snack?”

 

“I’m sorry but the girls are already waiting for me. It’s getting late. Maybe next time.” Yuri smiled and said goodbye.

Yuri arrived just in time and the girls were busy chatting about girl stuff. As usual, they laughed and goofed around as they share their thoughts about random things. The laughter suddenly paused when they heard the doorbell. Who would dare visit them in the middle of the night?

 

The pizza guy smiled as Yoona opened the door. “Pizza delivery!”

 

Tiffany asked the guy, “Is that really for us? We didn’t call for pizza tonight. Are you sure?”

The guy politely bowed and greeted them. “Mister Choi Minho ordered pizza and told us to bring it to Miss Kwon Yuri’s apartment. Enjoy! ”

 

All the girls looked at the tanned girl. Three big boxes of delicious pizza lay in the middle of the table.

 

“Before you guys say a word..” Yuri told them what happened.

 

Tiffany clapped her hands. “It’s so kind of Minho.”

 

Sooyoung was envious of her. “Next time I’d stay alone in our training room too. Who knows? Minho might treat me a snack. “

 

Hyoyeon slapped the tall girl’s forehead.”Aigoo, You’ll really do anything for food.”

 

The girls are happily eating the tasty treat when they heard Yuri’s phone ringing.

 

 “Hello Minho, thanks a lot for the pizza. It’s very delicious and we like it.” All the girls heard their conversation.

 

“Choi Minho, thanks to you we enjoyed pizza without shedding a penny! You’re a hero! Keep it up.” Hyoyeon joked. He laughed at the girls funny comments over the phone.

 

“I’ll try my best next time, noonas. It’s nice to know you liked it. Eat well. Bye.”

Minho’s with the rest of the Shinee boys. They just finished practicing and were taking a rest.

 

“What’s the real score between you and Yuri-noona?” Jonghyun ruffled his hair and raised an eyebrow.

 

“As of now I don’t want to jump into conclusions, but you all know that I liked her ever since.”

 

Jonghyun giggled as he shook his head. “Aish, just like me and my princess back on the days.”

 

“We could only wait for now.” Onew added. “Choi Minho fighting!”

 

Meanwhile, the girls are also talking of the same topic.

 

“What’s been happening between you two? Would you like to say anything to us?” Sunny asked.

 

Yuri gave them the puppy-eyed look and spoke in an innocent tone. “What are you girls talking about?”

 

“Aish... I used to be on that same situation before Jonghyun and I had a relationship.” Jessica’s dreamy eyes made her look like she’s travelling back to that moment.

 

“We won’t know that it’s you guys already haven’t we seen you kissing on the dressing room!” Tiffany recalled. The other girls laughed as they mimicked the same old moment. About five minutes before their performance, all the girls noticed that Jessica was missing. They went back to their dressing room only to find her kissing with Jonghyun.

Yuri contemplated on her thoughts as she stayed up late. “Could WE also be an US?”  Thoughts about Minho keep circling her head. She’s afraid she’s falling for the guy.  It’s not that she doesn’t like him, but there’s a part of her that says Minho is someone special. No woman could ever resist his flaming charisma.
