Myungsoo had moved on from crying almost every night for a whole 8 months, having to be forced to eat, failing classes, and being involve in a fight after Sungyeol left.
It came to the point where sunggyu, the sunggyu, had punched him right at his tear stained cheek and then he realized.
No use looking for someone who doesn't want to be found, when he can't even find himself.
Myungsoo spends the rest of the days all happy, with an occasional staying up all night crying because of a bad dream or thinking too much.
And then he comes back.
he comes back and everything myungsoo's been dreading is here.

Myungsoo should have known.
He should have known that something was bound to happen when the cup he was holding earlier broke when he lifted it from the table. Or when he almost drop his car keys early in the morning down the toilet (he had to fish it out of the toilet with a god damned stick, pouring the whole of the alcohol content on it and now he understands why keys are waterproof—thank heavens, and drying it with a blower.) Or when his shoelace, for some unknown reason, was cut in half just when he was about to leave the apartment.
Myungsoo should have known that something was bound to happen when his father tapped him at the back last week and an "it's time to meet an old friend, I will be back in a month, you're mom will follow me after a week." Or when his father had told him that he as in myungsoo himself will be talking business matters with someone next week (meaning: this week, tomorrow, after his class.)
He should have known the signs of a bad omen.
