Chasing Pavements...

A fruitless search or mission, embarked upon by the lost, the stranded and the desperate.

Hope is as shallow as your belief in finding all the answers you need in life.
Hope, is as deep as your dire need to find those answers.

As you sit on the sidewalk, one starry night, making wishes on the stars, do you believe in those wishes?
Or do you simply believe that they will fade with the stars in the morning light, turning to stardust right before your eyes as you keep on keeping on, chasing pavements with every beat of your racing heart?

In every pursuit, there is always promise of discovery and desire fulfilled. But what is
“Promise” truly?

Just another reason to hope.
Each light has its own darkness, and each promise, its own lie.
It may not happen. It may not come. Is that reason enough to stop believing?

Has it ever been?

So as you sit on the sidewalk while night turns slowly to day and wishes to stardust, you ask yourself…

“Should I give up? Or should I just keep chasing pavements>”
