Victoria sighs, she just broke up with the next guy, he wasn’t right, didn’t fit. She always felt bad when she broke up with another guy, she tried to say it as nicely she could but it still pained her slightly when she saw how disappointed the guy was.

“Did Josh take it well?” Luna asks her when she sits down at the lunch table.

“No.” She shakes her head.

“Well I did hear that he was quite emotional.” Krystal says.

“You hear everything about everyone.” Amber rolls her eyes, Krystal being the main gossiper in their group.

“I also heard that there’s another boy, his name is Tao.” Krystal says.

“I know him, he’s in a few of my classes, we’ve been partners once or twice.” Victoria says. Then she remembers him, his smile, his laugh, his voice…

“You’re thinking of him again aren’t you?” Sulli asks.

“When am I not thinking of him?” She replies putting her head in her hands.

“When you’re distracted, only distraction here, are the boys.” She says, “I think Tao is in the library, I’ve spotted him there quite a few times.” She says. Victoria gives her a look and laughs but then gets up and makes her way to the library, she has doubts though which usually happens when she’s about to ask a guy out. She brushes them off and opens the door and looks around. Her eyes fall on the guy, he has short black hair, his eye bags make him resemble a panda, which she finds extremely cute, and he’s very handsome.

“Hey Tao.” She walks up to him. He looks up and nods. He is a cold person, always brushing the girls off when they approached him, and if he did talk to them it was in an emotionless voice.

“What do you want?” He asks.

“I was wondering, would you want to go on a date with me?” She asks.

“No.” He says. It’s like a punch to the stomach, Victoria’s breath hitches for a moment but she quickly composes herself, thank god she was good in acting; she could hide her feelings.

“May I ask why?” She asks.

“Do you think I want to be just another guy you’ve dated?” He asks coldly.

“Fair enough.” She scoffs, “See you around Zitao.” She smirks and walks off.

Wow, rejection hurts, she thinks feeling a tear run down her cheek. She brushes it away quickly, can't let anyone see. The thing she was always afraid of finally happened, but not in the way she’d ever imagined it, so cold, no trace of emotion. Her heart throbs painfully but she straightens and walks off ignoring all the stares she gets from the other boys.
