it's a trend now, isn't it? to leave a longlonglong message of promise to entice you to join a newly opened roleplay; and here i am doing the same when i felt that it slowly grew viral; going a bit too mainstream. however, that is not the point. truth be told, i am not normal,haha. who is ever normal nowadays? this is definitely not a normal roleplay and i am most certainly not a normal admin. why am i saying all that? first of all, it is because i am not here to lay out promises that i can't keep. i am not a fortune tellerㅡ i can't say that i guarantee this place will be your sanctuary; i can't say that i guarantee we will be family and i most definitely can't say that i guarantee this will last long. you might think i'm jinxing my own roleplay luck or whatever but i'm not. i'm saying it because what if you feel left out when a person or two misses out your post or if s/he replies slow when it comes to you? or, if you know that they are face-chasing and doing selective replies or biased replies? what if they ignored your friend request without realisation? i could leave them with a warning but you may or may not be comfortable anymore talking to s/he due to the mini incident and if or when it happens, you would slowly grow inactive or worse, deactivate. i don't want that to happenㅡ i don't want you to leave with a bad memory because when you do, it shows that i have failed to perform my duty as an admin. i have failed to make you feel welcomed, accepted and most importantly, loved. even if you wanted to leave, i only want you to leave with good memories instead; i want you to leave with a sense of dreading to come back. i don't want to make a family that will eventually forget each other. i don't want us to become phantoms instead, so before you make that reservation and click comment; ask yourself, will i care for this family?
