“Do you have a pencil I could borrow?”

                Youngjae raised an eyebrow.

                “O-or a pen. Anything really. I kind of…lost mine.” His classmate laughed nervously, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly as he avoided Youngjae's intense gaze.

                Youngjae stared at the student for a long moment before rolling his eyes, reaching into his bag again in search for something the other could borrow. He pulled something out of his pencil box, eyebrows furrowing as he stared at the pen in his hand.

                It was an old gel pen, its purple and a sliver of its blue gone from the amount of times it had been used. Youngjae hasn’t used it in a long time actually, he noted, staring at the rest of the colors lined up in the tube. He shrugged before holding it out for the student next to him to take, only noticing then that the blue of the pen matched the hue of the other’s backpack settled sloppily against the leg of his desk.

                “Thanks,” the other breathed, taking the pen without a second thought, uncapping it with a pop.

                Youngjae didn’t answer but only watched as the student pulled his test paper out in front of him, scribbling out his name at the top of the page.

I might end up changing the description later on btw. I was scowering through my old documents and came across a fic I wrote two years ago for a different pairing and decided to rewrite it for this pairing. I hope you like it<3
