"I like this photograph," I heard him say. Him. The one that had me thinking that I have to catch up to him, I had to be better than him. Without me being over-competetive. He was the only light of my life. I used to think human brings were too imperfect to exist. To sinful to exist. Until I saw him. Byun Baekhyun, that's his name.

I was inside the library, reading books for- well, nothing much really. I loved reading books, but not as much as I loved photography. i like capturing photographs that shows you an essence of another world that exists somewhere, anywhere. Lots of pictures were hung on the wall. I owned one there. Right in the middle.

"Well, it looks like something you would go for," someone said from beside him.

"I think its pretty nice to see those kind of stuff, you know. Something that portrays a kind of world." Baekhyun said with a slight smile. He turned around and his eyes met with mine. My eyes widened as my position might have looked suspiscious because I was peeking at him behind a book shelf. But he immediately just walked out of the library like nothing happened.

"Hey, have you heard? Baekhyun- sunbaenim died today."

I stopped reading and immediately stood up from my seat. My hands both placed on the table, with my eyes wide. I couldn't think of anything but his sweet smile.

How could he die?

I ran out of the library with my camera and went to the school's yard. It was wide and it had trees. The yard looked like a mythical place. Somewhere fairies would live.

That kind of world.

I went to a place near the trees and a lake. I stared at the scnery of the lake for a while. It was beautiful and gentle. Something that reminds me of Baekhyun. I took a picture of it and heard a noise near the trees. 

Oh, someone else is here?

There was someone who's back was leaning against the tree. Oh, that's the person that Baekhyun's always with.

I walked to his direction.

There's someone else with him?

"BAEKHYUN?!"

"If only I realized earlier, I could've felt the warmth of his body. If only I talked to him earlier. If only I got to know him better. If only I realized these feelings earlier, my  wish might have become a reality."

                                  "You seem to be afraid of talking to others. But if you had the guts to talk to a ghost, you seem pretty much set for whatever life may throw at you. Try your hardest. I'll be rooting for you.

OKAY! This is my first short story! This is from the manga "Toumei na Sekai" so the plot isn't mine but I'll change some other details. Characters aren't mine ( Baek and Yeon belong to each other) i won't write their bio because you'll get to know them as the story goes on~ ^^

If you don't like baekyeon then it can be an OC, an OC named Taeyeon. ^O^
