Foreword

Author's Note

It's different from what I usually write, but I think the thoughts in general will be similar. Just the style is a tad ... different. First person narrative, not as descriptive as I usually am, but a lot more going into the OC's mind. And it's also less drama, which I love. Don't expect kingkas or crazy tragedy. It's more realistic, but I do want to weave through a very mixed undercurrent of melancholy. It's just I am really into some melancholy slice of life right now, and this is the result. :')

I can already feel that nice bittersweet ache just thinking about the story and I hope it will reach you when you read it. <3

About the poster: I quickly made it after half a year of not touching Photoshop, haha. I hope it's acceptable. I expected it to be much worse, so I'm happy with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also: I named the story after this song. It's been my favorite song since April, and it's what basically inspired this mood of mine.

Chapter 10: It's my first week at university, and seeing my feelings written out feels nice. No one really close to share secrets with, too many things going on all at once, everyone telling you being an introvert really (as if i didn't know), wanting to cry, having difficulty to make friends, etc is all more than stressful.

Chapter 10: When you're at their lowest, you realize how big the world is and those close friends aren't really close enough to entrusted secrets with. I want to hug her and tell her everything is going to be alright.
