That night, Jaejoong went to drink with his friends.

“Let’s go!” They drunkenly called.

Jaejoong shook his head, “Nuh-uh…I…go…”

“Hey!” His friends protested.

“Bye-bye!” Jaejoong laughed. He spun around and stumbled towards the street. Jaejoong waved his arm, “HELLOOOO! TAXIII! I NEED YOU!”

Finally, one stopped. He went inside and told the taxi driver his address.

Jaejoong took out his phone and scrolled through the contact list. He had a hard time choosing the name since he had double vision. Usually when he was drunk, the first person he looked for was Ahyoung. He would always call her and ask her for one more drink. But this time, Jaejoong kept saying, “My wifey. My wifey. My wifey.”

The cab driver looked at him through the mirror, “You must have gotten newly married. No one married for such a long time ever looks for his wife like that.” He chuckled.

Jaejoong smiled, “Not newly married…but it does feel new…I don’t treat her well…I think…”

“You should show her that you love her when you go home.” The driver advised.

“Yeah.” Jaejoong sighed. “Why? Do you not love your wife anymore?” The driver interrogated.

*I never loved her in the beginning. But now…I don’t know why she’s even on my mind at this moment.* Jaejoong tapped his head, “She’s always in here for some reason.” He put his hand over his heart, “And here, too, I think…it burns but it’s a good kind of burn…”

“Yep. You’re in love with her.” The driver chuckled. *Everyone keeps saying that to me.* Jaejoong closed his eyes.

You were about to go to bed when there was a loud banging on the door. You heard a muffled shout outside. *Who can that be?* Warily, you headed to the door. “WIFEY! WIFEY! OPEN THE DOOR!” You heard someone shout. Your eyes widened *Jaejoong oppa?!* You opened the door. Jaejoong opened his arms widely with a big, half-conscious grin, “HONEY, I’M HOME!” He stumbled right into your arms.

“Omo! Oppa, how much did you drink?!” You tried to balance him but he fell onto the floor.

“Excuse me. Are you his wife?” A man asked. You nodded, “Yes.”

“I was his taxi driver and he hasn’t paid me yet.” He sheepishly said. You glanced beyond him and saw his car. “I’m sorry. Please hold on.” You went to get your wallet. You came back down with it, “How much does he owe you?” You were trying to get the money out when a pair of strong arms wrapped around you from behind. “MY WIFEY!” He nuzzled your neck.

You grew embarrassed. “I’m sorry. I- I don’t know why he’s like this today.” You squirmed but his grip was as strong as iron.

The driver accepted your money and smiled, “Give him a break. He kept talking about you in the car.” “He did?” You blinked in surprise. The driver nodded, “He kept saying ‘my wifey’ in the car and talked about how you were always in his mind and heart.” You gazed at Jaejoong in surprise *Did he really?*

“Whatever he did wrong, you should forgive him. He looks like he really regrets it. Good night.” The driver left. You bowed and shut the door. “Jaejoong oppa, wait,” You pulled away. He opened his eyes halfway. “You should go to sleep. I’ll help you to your room.” You led him upstairs. Jaejoong landed on the bed, face first.

You sighed and shook your head. *I don’t understand how people can drink so much.* You pulled his blazer and shoes off. You were about to turn the lamp off when Jaejoong suddenly grabbed your wrist. You gasped in surprise, “Weren’t you asleep?!”

Jaejoong opened his eyes. “…Everyone says I’m in love with you.” Your eyes rounded. You waited for him to continue. “They think that I love you.” He whispered.

You gently sat on the bed and searched his face. “What about you, Jaejoong oppa? What do you think?” He took a deep breath, “I think…” *This is it. This is when I know about his true feelings.* Your heart loudly bumped in your chest.

Jaejoong shut his eyes, “I think I’m dizzy.”

Your face fell in disappointment *That was not an answer.* “You should sleep.” You stood up but he yanked you back down. “Stay until I fall asleep, please.” You couldn’t say no.

Your eyes widened *Was that…a confession?!* You opened your mouth to ask him to explain more but he was already in dreamland. You softened.

“Jaejoong oppa…I don’t want to be separated from you either.” You bent down and gently kissed his cheek.
