You came out of the bathroom and looked around. *Huh? Where did Jaejoong go?* You couldn’t find him inside so you went outside. *Is he not here either?*

Suddenly, you heard arguing.

You turned the corner and stopped.

Jaejoong and Ahyoung were arguing next to a fountain of a cupid.

You stayed quiet and listened.

Ahyoung tried to leave but Jaejoong stopped her. “Let go!” She screamed. “Yoo Ahyoung! Snap out of it! I love you, you idiot!” He snapped.

Right then and there, Ahyoung grabbed his face and kissed him.

Your eyes widened. Before you could check if Jaejoong kissed back, someone covered your eyes. Your head was drawn into his chest. “Don’t look.” Yoochun whispered.

You wanted to. You had to know if Jaejoong would kiss back or not. Yet, you couldn’t. Instead, you just stayed frozen against his body.

Yoochun glared at Ahyoung and Jaejoong. *You liars.* His hand felt wet and he realized you were crying.

You pulled away from him and ran away. Yoochun ran after you. He grabbed your wrist and spun you around. Tears covered your face. Any moment now, you were going to break and flow like a dam.

“Come on. Not here.” Yoochun led you to his car.

The two of you went inside. It was dead silent. Then the silence was broken by your sobbing.

Yoochun pulled out his handkerchief. He held it out and you gratefully took it. Yoochun sighed and put his hand on your shoulder. *I knew Jaejoong would hurt her one day. I just hoped he had changed. I should’ve realized that hope was too far-fetched.*

Ahyoung finally stopped kissing Jaejoong. He stared at her in shock. *Did Ahyoung just really kiss me?! Does that mean…she is in love with me?* Before Jaejoong could ask, Ahyoung knocked out. He caught her waist and tapped her cheek, “Ahyoung!” But she was deeply asleep.

Jaejoong sighed in hopelessness. *It was probably the alcohol that made her kiss me.* He lifted her up and carried her to his car. Jaejoong took Ahyoung to her home. He pressed in her code and the door clicked open. Jaejoong gently laid her on the bed and pulled the covers over her.

“Yoochun…Jaejoong…” She mumbled in her sleep.

Jaejoong softened. He stroked her bangs away from her heart-shaped face and she calmed down by his touch.

Jaejoong saw the picture of the 3 of them when they were in college. He picked up the picture frame and a reminiscing smile crossed his face. *These were the good days. Not that I’m not happy now but…OH FUCK!* His eyes widened *~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!! SHE’S STILL AT THE PARTY!* Jaejoong dropped the picture frame and ran out of Ahyoung’s house.

Yoochun stopped his car in front of your house. He turned your engine off and warily glanced at you. All was silent. You just stared ahead, numb and hurt. “~~~~~~~ you’re home.” He whispered.

You didn’t move for a second and then you started to unbuckle your seatbelt. You were so distracted that you even had a hard time pushing the button.

Yoochun helped you and the seatbelt slipped off of you. You sat there, unmoving and still.

“…I’m guessing that hurt you a lot.” Yoochun said. You looked down.

“You really love Jaejoong a lot, don’t you?” He questioned.

“…Good night, Yoochun oppa.” You got out of the car and went inside your home.

Yoochun hesitated. He didn’t want to leave you in a condition like this. But you probably did want to be alone at the moment. Without much choice, Yoochun drove off.

When you entered your mansion, you didn’t even bother turning the lights on. With a heavy heart, you trudged up the stairs. You went into your room and sank onto the bed. You stared at the darkness ahead of you. A vivid flashback of Ahyoung and Jaejoong meeting lips played in your mind. You covered your face and began to cry. * I didn’t really mind if Jaejoong loved Ahyoung but now I do because there is the remote possibility that she might like him back. I’m so scared she’s in love with him, too. If that is true, where does that leave me?*

You heard the front door open. “~~~~~?” Jaejoong called.

You gasped *He’s back!* You couldn’t let him see you like this. You quickly lay down and pulled the blanket over you. Then you stayed very still as you waited.

Jaejoong knocked and poked his head in, “Are you home?” He turned the lights on and saw a bump under the covers. “Hey, you came home! I went back to the party place but you were gone! When did you come back?!” You didn’t answer, afraid that your voice might give everything away. *Oh crap. She’s mad at me. She has every right to be.* Jaejoong treaded closer.

You felt the bed press down by his weight. He lightly shook you. “Hey,” He softly whispered, “Are you okay? I’m sorry I left you alone. Ahyoung had to go home. Please don’t be mad.”

You cupped your hands over your mouth to keep from bursting into a sob.

Jaejoong sighed. “I’ll leave you to sleep tonight. Hopefully tomorrow you’ll feel better. Good night.”

You heard the door close and pushed the blanket off of you. *Is there something wrong with me for still being able to love you?*
