The next morning, Jaejoong had gone to a golf meeting with his clients.

The doorbell rang and you went to answer it. “Oh!” Your eyes rounded in surprise. Yoochun was standing in front of your door with his signature charming smile.

“Yoochun oppa! What are you doing here?” You asked. “Is Jaejoong home?” He asked.

You shook your head, “No, I’m sorry. He went to play golf.”

“Oh. Well I just wanted to return something that he left at the party last night.” Yoochun said.

“Yes?” You asked, expecting a jacket or wallet. But Yoochun pulled out a pen from his jacket. You blinked at the unimportant item.

“Jaejoong left this at Ahyoung’s house.” He gave it back.

“Er…you came all the way here just to give Jaejoong oppa…his pen back?” You stared at him.

Yoochun smiled and nodded.

“Wow…what a devoted friend you are.” You chuckled.

“Loyalty is one of my best characteristics.” He grinned.

You crossed your arms and gave him an amused look with one eyebrow raised.

“…Okay, okay. I confess. The pen was just an excuse.” Yoochun sheepishly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. The tips of his ears were bright pink. “To be honest…I came to see you.”

You blinked in surprise, “M-me? Why…?”

“Last night, there was a pretty big thunderstorm and you were all home alone while the rest of us were at a birthday party. I wanted to check up on you and see if you were okay.” Yoochun confessed.

You were touched. *How nice of him! How could he be friends with Jaejoong oppa? They’re so different.* “Do you want to come in for some juice?”

Yoochun shook his head, “How about…we go out?” “Out?” Your eyes rounded.

Jaejoong came home to find the house empty. *Where’d she go? Our parents want to eat lunch with us.* He called you.

“Hello?” You answered. “Where are you?” Jaejoong asked. “I’m out.” You replied.

Jaejoong rolled his eyes, “I know that but where?” He suspiciously raised an eyebrow, “Are you with Hyunbin or Dongwook?”

“No, I’m with Yoochun oppa.” You replied.

“MUH?!” *WHY?* Jaejoong was shocked.

“I have to go-“

“No wait! Our parents asked us to lunch! You have to come home now!” He blurted.

You paused then asked, “When do they want to meet us?” “At 2 at your hotel.” Jaejoong said. “I’ll come home before then. Bye!” You hung up. “Yah…YAH!” *SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! WHY IS SHE WITH YOOCHUN? WHEN DID HE COME HERE? WHY DID HE COME HERE?* Jaejoong was busy thinking.

Meanwhile, you and Yoochun were at the park with coffee. “Jaejoong?” He guessed. You nodded. “He must worry about you a lot.” Yoochun said. You made a face, “Hardly.” Yoochun laughed.

The two of you crossed the bridge. “If he really worried about me, he wouldn’t have left me alone in the middle of a thunderstorm!” You crossed your arms in a huff.

Yoochun stopped and faced you. “I know, right? I thought he would have brought you with him. Doesn’t matter what anyone else says.” He looked into your eyes, “If you were my wife, I would definitely bring you everywhere with me.”

Your eyes rounded in curiosity. *What does that mean?* You were mesmerized in his deep, brown eyes.

A bell rang behind you, “Incoming!” Yoochun’s eyes rounded in alarm. He quickly grabbed your waist and spun you out of the way.

The bike rider passed by without harm.

On the other hand, you and Yoochun were stuck together. His arm was around your waist and your hands were pressed against his chest. The two of you stared at each other and didn’t look away. You could feel his heartbeat accelerate under your palms.

*Is he okay?* You wondered. Yoochun straightened you up and softly whispered, “Are you okay?”

You nodded and stepped back, “Thanks.” “No problem.” Yoochun nodded. He checked his watch, “I should take you home now.” The two of you went to his car. In 10 minutes, you were at your mansion.

“Thanks for the coffee. I’ll make sure Jaejoong oppa receives his pen.” You winked.

Yoochun laughed, “Thank you. I knew I could count on you.”

You waved until his car disappeared. With a smile, you entered the house.

Jaejoong came running down. He started searching behind you, “Where is Yoochun?!” “He left, of course” You said.

“What?! Didn’t he come to see me?!” Jaejoong asked in bewilderment. “He came to return this to you.” You held out the fountain pen.

Jaejoong blinked in outrage, “Is this a joke?!”

“I should go get ready or we’ll be late.” You skipped upstairs.
