You and Hyunbin entered his car. He swiftly fastened his seatbelt on and switched the car to drive mode.

“Honestly, are you stupid?” Hyunbin asked as he reversed the car.

“Excuse me?” You blinked.

Hunbin gave you a look, “You came to shop with him for another girl?”

You shrugged, “He needed help.”

Hyunbin shook his head, “You are so naïve sometimes, you know that?”

“What? I didn’t do anything wrong. He needed help so I gave it to him! Besides, I only owe him 7 wishes now.” You beamed as if that was the proudest thing in the world.

Hyunbin sighed, “Scratch that. You’re naïve all the time.”

You and Hyunbin arrived at the restaurant. Jaejoong was already waiting at the front.

The 3 of entered the restaurant. Jaejoong was about to pull your chair open but Hyunbin was one step ahead of him. “Thanks, oppa.” You sat down and he pushed it back in. *That was my job, you moron!* Jaejoong angrily thought.

“What do you want to order?” Hyunbin asked.

“I’ll have the rib-eye.” Jaejong said.

You spoke up, “And I’ll have-“

“Flank steak.” Hyunbin answered for you.

Jaejoong stared at him *How does he know all that?* “Do you always order that?” He hissed in your direction. You shook your head, “No. Hyunbin oppa just knows my preferences.” *Or he’s a stalker.* Jajeoong vouched.

The waiter came and Hyunbin ordered. “So what did you get for your friend?” Hyunbin asked, interested.

You spoke for Jaejoong, “The Tiffany double-hearted locket!”

His eyes widened, “What the hell! I put that on reserve for you!” You good-naturedly shrugged, “There are other necklaces.”

Hyunbin didn’t look happy as he sipped his water. The waiter came with the steaks. You had trouble cutting through your steak. Jaejoong was about to offer to help when Hyunbin snapped his fingers and held out his hand, “Give me that.” You handed him your dish. Hyunbin skillfully cut your steak into bitable pieces. “How come I can’t do that?” You pouted. “Because you’re cutting the wrong way. Here.” Hyunbin gave you the steak back. “Thanks.” You eagerly started to eat.

Jaejoong chewed on his steak as he watched the way you and Hyunbin interacted. Hyunbin acted like he didn’t care when actually he paid attention to your every detail.

When sauce was on your chin, he casually held out his napkin.

When your water glass was almost empty, he called the waiter ahead of time.

When you looked like you were about to have a stomachache, he chided you to stop eating.

*How long have these two been friends for? They know everything about each other. What about that Dongwook guy? Does he act like this way with her also? Oh no!* Jaejoong’s eyes widened in panic *What if Hyunbin is actually like me? Deep inside, he is actually in love with his own best friend?!* He stared at Hyunbin who was gazing at you. *No! Look away! I don’t like his eyes!* Jaejoong sent a telepathic note.

“I’m so full!” You groaned.

The waiter came by, “Would you like desert?”

You perked up, “Lava cake!”

Hyunbin held out his hand, “No thank you.” The waiter left.

You pouted, “But my lava cake…”

“I don’t need you to call me at 3 in the morning asking for me to take you to the hospital.” Hyunbin sipped his water.

*This guy is totally ignoring the fact that I live under the same roof as her. If she needs help, she can come to me.* Jaejoong had enough and put his napkin down, “I think we should go.” Hyunbin checked his watch, “Yes, I have to go back also.” The guys headed to the counter.

At the same time, they said, “Check, please.” Surprised, they looked at each other.

Hyunbin gritted his teeth, “I said I would treat you.” “Why would I let you do such a thing when I have money also?” Jaejoong thinly smiled.

The worker held the check out, “Here you go-“

Both of them snatched it, causing the worker to jump in shock.

“Give it to me.” Hyunbin growled. “No, I’m going to pay.” Jaejoong tugged on the check. It threatened to rip in two.

“Oh, just give it to me!” You snatched the check and signed your name on it. “Here you go.” You handed the worker your credit card.

During the entire process, Jaejoong and Hyunbin were glaring at each other.

“Have a good day, miss.” The worker bowed.

“All done. Let’s go.” You told them. Finally, they stopped the staring contest and glumly followed you out.

“I’ll call you later, Binnie oppa.” You waved and went into Jaejoong’s car. He nodded back.

Triumphantly, Jaejoong went into his car. He smugly smirked *Guess who she’s going home with now?* “Aren’t we leaving?” You asked.

“Oh. Yeah.” Whistling, Jaejoong drove home. “Why are you so happy?” You asked.

*Because that good-for-nothing Hyunbin is out of my hair now!* “Because you paid for lunch.” Jaejoong grinned.

“Cheapie.” You muttered.
