The birthday party lasted until night. When all the coffee had been finished, the adults finally thought it was time to leave. *Finally. I’m so sleepy.* You rubbed your eyes.

“It’s already midnight. Why don’t the two of you sleep here?” Mrs. Kim asked. “Huh?!” You were awake now. Your mom clapped with glee, “That would be wonderful!”

“B-but our home-“

“This is your home as well! Spend the night, please! Your father would be so happy!” She looked his way. He nodded, “By all means, stay.”

*Oh boy.* You looked at Jaejoong, who didn’t know what to do also.

You and Jaejoong tried to protest but your mom had shoved you both into your room.

“Mom! No-“

“Good night!” She slammed the door shut.

“Mom!” You tried to open the door but it was locked from the outside! “I can’t believe this! She tricked us!” Frustratingly, you slammed your head on the door. You expected Jaejoong to help you get out of this mess but he was already settling down in your bed. “Uh, excuse me.” You put your hands on your hips, “We’re locked in.”

“So?”

“So?!” You exploded. “It means we have to spend the night together in one room! We’ve never done that before, nevertheless in one bed!”

Jaejoong shrugged, “Too bad.”

You raised an eyebrow. “I know what this is. You’re in on this, aren’t you? You planned this with my mother, didn’t you? DIDN’T YOU?!” You shook him.

Jaejoong shot up and your eyes widened as he was face-to-face with you again. “Yes, I planned this with your mother on purpose just so that we can spend the night together and maybe I can show you that I’m NOT seedless, which by the way, was not funny at all!” He gave you a hard look.

*Oops.* You looked away.

“Now if you’ll just let me rest.” Jaejoong lay back down.

You sighed *I guess there’s nothing we could do tonight.* “I’m going to go change. Don’t peek!” You wagged your finger. “Please. There’s nothing to see.” Jaejoong smirked with his eyes closed.

You made a face and went into the bathroom with a spare set of clothes. You washed up and changed into comfortable clothes. When you came out, it seemed like Jaejoong was asleep. You looked around, wondering where to sleep.

“Aren’t you going to lie down?” He asked with his eyes closed.

“I will after you get off my bed.” You said.

“No way. I’ve never slept on the floor before and I will not do so now. You sleep on the floor.” Jaejoong retorted.

“Why would I do that?! This is MY bed!” You crossed your arms in a huffy manner.

“Either sleep on the floor alone or sleep on the bed with me. Your choice.” Jaejoong went on his side.

*I guess I have no choice.* You climbed into the bed. You fluffed the pillow and lay down. You grabbed a cushion and settled it between you and Jaejoong. You had just closed your eyes to sleep when you heard him mutter, “Damn. It’s hot in here.” You opened your eyes to see him tugging at his collar.

“What are you doing?” You asked, panicking.

“Taking my shirt off. Unlike you, I don’t have the convenience of changing into my pajamas.” He was about to take his top off but you grabbed his hands. “Don’t you dare, Kim Jaejoong!” You squealed.

Jaejoong continued to take it off. You squealed and grabbed onto his hands tighter, “NO!”

There was a knock on the door and both of you froze. “Kids? I know you’re busy in there but can you tone it down just a teensy bit? Your father is sleeping and he has work early tomorrow.” Your mom droned on and on.

“Oh God.” You slapped your forehead. She was thinking the worst. “Good night, kids!” She finally left.

Jaejoong smirked, “Your mom is funny.” “Whatever. Just don’t take your shirt off.” You mumbled and curled onto your side.

Jaejoong put his arms behind his head and looked at you, “Are you sleeping?”

“Almost…” You mumbled with closed eyes.

“Can I ask you something before you completely fall asleep?” He asked.

“Sure…” You replied.

“Do you miss your home?” Jaejoong questioned.

“Of course.”

“Enough that you regret…marrying me?” He asked. It was quiet for a while. Jaejoong thought you had fallen asleep. He propped up on his elbow and peeked at you.

At that moment, you whispered, “No.” Jaejoong froze, thinking he had heard wrong. “…I don’t regret marrying you.” And even in your slightly unconscious state, you meant it. With that, you drifted off to slumber land.

Jaejoong shifted closer and reached his arm out around your body. He carefully turned you around so that you were facing him. Jaejoong searched your face with gentle eyes. He pushed your bangs away from your face and softly smiled. *Me, too. I don’t regret marrying you either.*

The next morning, your mom finally unlocked the door to set both of you free. “Kids, it’s time for breakfast-“ She stopped. You and Jaejoong were asleep curled towards each other with faces just inches away. His arm was lightly draped over the curve of your waist. Your hands were pressed slightly against his chest. Both of you looked like a loving couple while sleeping like that. Your mom smiled *I’ll just let them sleep in a little bit longer.* She quietly shut the door and tip-toed away.

A couple minutes later, you woke up on your own. Your eyes fluttered open only to be greeted by Jaejoong’s handsome sleeping face. You were about to scream but stopped. Jaejoong looked so soundly asleep that you didn’t want to disturb him. Instead, you just shut your mouth and waited. Your eyes searched his face *He looks like Sleeping Prince. How can he be so handsome now when he’s a jerk when he opens his mouth?*

You suddenly had an urge to touch him. You reached out, giving in. Your fingertips lightly grazed his eyebrows, sharp nose, and pink lips. Your heart swelled up *Gosh, he’s gorgeous. I can’t believe he’s my husband.* You remembered his question last night and softly smiled. *I wonder what your answer is. Do you regret marrying me?* You looked back at his face.

Just then, Jaejoong opened his eyes. Your own eyes widened. The two of you stared at each other.

Finally, you shoved him hard, “YOU RAPIST!” Jaejoong fell onto the ground, “Ouch! Shit!”

You sat up, “Y-you purposely made me sleep on the bed, didn’t you?!” Jaejoong stood up and rubbed his aching back, “You and your accusations. If I really wanted to do something to you, I would already have.”

“W-whatever. I’m going down first.” You stomped off. Jaejoong smirked. *Good morning to you, too.*

You pressed yourself against the wall and put your hands over your beating chest. *I was almost caught! Thank God he didn’t wake up when I was touching his face!* You could still remember how soft his skin felt under your fingertips. With a growing smile, you headed downstairs.
