It was your dad’s birthday. You and Jaejoong went to your old mansion. You felt excited to come home once again. “Mom! Dad!” You ran into their outstretched arms.

Jaejoong smiled *She must be really happy to be with her family again.* He went to get the gifts from the trunk.

“Let me look at my little girl.” Your dad pulled back and examined your face. “My, you got more beautiful!” “Dad!” You laughed. Your mom’s eyes glittered, “Welcome, Jaejoong!”

“Hello omonim, abunim.” He bowed. “Happy Birthday, sir.”

“Thank you.” Your dad grinned.

“Come on in. Your parents will be here soon also.” Your mom invited Jaejoong inside. You hugged your dad’s arm and started a conversation with him.

“Show Jaejoong your old room!” Your mom abruptly suggested.

“But-“

“Go on while your father and I get the barbeque ready!” She yanked you away from your dad and pushed you towards Jaejoong.

*So pushy!* You pouted. Your mom waved and walked away with your dad. You could hear him chuckling. You sighed and shook your head *Mom and her plans.*

Jaejoong smiled, “So…will you show me your old room?” “Do you want to see?” You asked. He shrugged, “Why not?” “Follow me.” You led him upstairs towards your room.

You opened the double doors. Fortunately, the maids had kept it spotless. Jaejoong entered and looked around. He saw a pink canopy bed, rose walls, large furry pink rug, a white desk, and a fun lava lamp. Jaejoong picked up the picture of you, Hyunbin, and Dongwook. You were 15 years old and they were 18. Hyunbin looked like a rebel student with his crooked tie and raised eyebrow. Dongwook had an impish grin with one arm around your neck. You were leaning forwards with your hands on your knees. A cheerful grin was on your face.

Jaejoong smiled. The braids made you look even more childish.

You lay flat onto your bed and sighed in content. “My bed is perfect!” *I missed this.* You rolled onto your stomach and closed your eyes as you smoothed the fabric of the cushiony blanket. You felt the bed being pressed inward and opened your eyes. “Hey! What’s the big deal!”

“You’re right. I like your bed. We should take this to our home and I’ll use this.” Jaejoon grinned. “No way! This is MY bed! Get OFF!” You tried to push him off but it was like trying to move a boulder. *Does he work out? How can he be so strong?* “Aiyeee!” You shoved with all your might. Jaejoong rested his arms behind his head and relaxed. “GET OFF!” You screamed and hit his chest.

Suddenly, you were grabbed and yanked down. You gasped with wide eyes. Your face was just centimeters away from his. Jaejoong smirked at you, “No matter how hard you try, you can’t beat me. I will never get off this bed.” That was a mistake on his part. He hadn’t realized you were on top of him. His ears turned red. *Damn. I didn’t know we were this close. Why did I saw that I won’t get off? Now I really can’t!*

You swallowed hard and looked away. *How did we become in this position?* “Umm…” You bit your lip.

*Shit! Why does she have to bite her lip like that? RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!* Jaejoong was on the verge of becoming insane.

You turned your head and met eyes with him. All other thoughts were driven out of his mind. All he could think of was how pretty your face looked at this particular angle. If he just lifted his head, he could kiss you, just like he had at the party. Bit by bit, Jaejoong started to raise his head. You didn’t move. You just waited for the unexpected.

BOOM! “Your parents are here- OOPS!” Your mom covered her face.

“MOM!” You flailed your arms as you fell onto the ground.

“I’m so sorry, kids! I didn’t know you two were-“ She blushed. “Do continue.”

Your mom shut the door and left. You sat up and yelled, “THERE’S NOTHING TO CONTINUE!” To your annoyance, Jaejoong was laughing.

“Oh shut up and help me up!” You crankily held out your hand.

Jaejoong sat up, took your hand, and lifted you up. “I told you I wouldn’t get off the bed.” He gleefully grinned.

“I hope a piano falls on your head.” You stormed off.

“That is impossible.” Jaejoong chuckled. He didn’t know why it was so fun to tease you. “Wait for me!” Jaejoong ran after you.

The two of you came out to your backyard. “Hello, omonim, abunim.” You bowed to the Kims. “My daughter-in-law!” Mrs. Kim held out a hand. You took it and she warmly squeezed it. You meekly smiled and bowed. Mrs. Kim’s smile fell when she saw Jaejoong, “What is wrong with your hair?” “Huh? Oh.” He smoothed it down.

“The children were…preoccupied.” Your mom giggled.

“Mom!” You shouted, mortified.

“Oh, I see.” Mrs. Kim knowingly smiled.

You covered your face *Great. Now everyone is misunderstanding.*

Jaejoong chuckled. He pulled out your chair and sweetly cooed, “Sit next to me, honey~”

Gritting your teeth, you stomped over. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

Jaejoong batted his lashes, “Of course. Aren’t you, honey- Freaking shit!” He hissed as you stepped on his shoe with your heel. You sat down with a flip of your hair, “Call me honey one more time and you won’t be able to walk.” Jaejoong scowled at you.

“Feed Jaejoong some of the meat, ~~~~~~~~.” Your mom instructed.

“Yes, mother.” You wrapped a big ball of vegetables, rice, meat, and hot spicy pepper. You faked a wide smile, “Say ahh HONEY~” Before Jaejoong could protest, you shoved the entire thing into his mouth. He started to choke.

“Aww, aren’t they cute?” The adults laughed.

Jaejoong weakly laughed as he sent a glare your way. You pretended not to notice and wrapped your own neat little ball of meat, rice, and veggies.

The dinner conversation turned towards you and Jaejoong.

“So any news of the baby yet?” Mrs. Kim asked.

You choked on your rice. Jaejoong patted your back and handed you a glass of water. You took a sip and coughed. “Excuse me.” “It’s perfectly fine, sweetie.” Mrs. Kim understandingly nodded.

“Um,” You flushed pink, “There is no baby.” *And there will be none! Ever!*

“Why not?” Your mom just had to ask.

“She’s not ready yet.” Jaejoong smirked your way *Take that.* You shot him a glare *Yeah, put the blame on me.*

“How rude! If your husband wants a baby, you should make one!” Your mom chided. *It’s not easy as 1,2,3..* You glumly thought. “Are you too embarrassed or shy of your body?” She asked. “MOM!” You whined.

“Yeah, she doesn’t like showing me anything.” Jaejoong sniggered.

You glared at him *I’ll show him.* You angelically smiled, “Actually, I am ready but there’s a problem.” You faked a deep sigh. “What is it?” The adults eagerly asked. Jaejoong blinked at you in bafflement *What is she talking about?* You pouted, “Jaejoong oppa is seedless.”

“OH MY!” The adults gasped. Jaejoong gaped at you, “Yah!”

“Jaejoong! Did you go see the doctor?!” Mrs. Kim was on the verge of fainting. You shook your head, “Poor Jaejoong oppa. He can’t have any babies ever. He has no-“ Jaejoong clamped a hand over your mouth and blurted, “SHE’ S JUST KIDDING!” You struggled but he wouldn’t release you. “~~~~~~~~~ is just getting back at me for a little prank I pulled on her earlier. Please don’t take her seriously.” He meekly smiled.

“Whew. Don’t scare us like that.” The adults sighed in relief.

“Then when will we see our grandchildren?” Your mom pouted. “Do you want to go to the doctor with me, Jaejoong?” Mrs. Kim asked.

Jaejoong shook his head, “D-don’t worry. We’ll try harder.”

You pushed his hand away. He gave you a look that spelled ‘D-E-E-P-S-H-I-T’.

You just shoved another roll of food into your mouth.
