Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!

“Oh! Ahyoung!” Junsu waved.

Jaejoong instantly looked up.

Ahyoung came in with a big smile, “Hey, boys.”

“Wow. You look more beautiful than ever.” Junsu complimented.

“Thanks.” She beamed with her chin tilted up. Jaejoong smiled *She always looks beautiful.*

“Did Yoochun come?” Ahyoung asked. His smile dropped instantly.

“Yeah, he went to the refreshment table a while ago.” Yunho informed.

Ahyoung headed over. “Excuse me.” Jaejoong followed her.

Ahyoung arrived at the refreshment table and was not pleased to find Yoochun and you together. You laughed at his joke. He smiled and sipped his wine. Ahyoung cleared her throat loudly. Both of you looked up. *Uh-oh.* You thought.

Ahyoung came over and crossed her arms, “What are you two talking about?”

“Secret.” Yoochun winked your way.

This time, Jaejoong came on defense. *What secret?*

Ahyoung certainly wasn’t happy either. “I thought this was a high school reunion meeting so what are you doing here?” “We’re allowed to bring our spouses Ahyoung.” Yoochun gently chided. She pouted unhappily but did not say more. “Can you come with me to say hi to the girls?” “Sure.” He gave you a nod, “I’ll leave you with Jaejoong then.” They left together.

Ahyoung glanced at you, snorted, and dragged Yoochun away. You tilted your head, “I really don’t think she likes me.” “What were you and Yoochun talking about?” Jaejoong asked. “Huh? Oh, nothing much.” You waved it away. *But he said it was a secret!* He thought.

The classmates gathered in the center for their year valedictorian (which was Yoochun) to speak. More memories were shared and a chuckle ran through the crowd. Jaejoong and Ahyoung exchanged smiles, leaving you lost. Out of nowhere, an obnoxious voice called, “The years aren’t all that has changed! Kim Jaejoong!”

Everyone turned their heads. Park Joon, the classmate that always hated on Jaejoong, stepped forward with a sly grin. “You got married, too. I thought you would never get married to someone else when you had a crush on you-know-who for the longest time!” He cackled. Jaejoong furrowed his eyebrows *That bastard better shut his mouth!*

Joon held his hand out, “Nice to meet you, Jaejoong’s wife.” You glanced at Jaejoong and slipped your hand in his. Joon yanked you forwards and you gasped. “Poor lady. I feel sorry for you. Your husband doesn’t have you in his heart at all!” You swallowed hard. Jaejoong pulled you back and gave Joon a hard look, “That’s enough.”

Joon shrugged. He grabbed a glass of wine and held it up in the air, “Let’s make a toast to the new couple! As a celebration,” He smirked, “Let’s have a kiss ceremony.” Ahyoung’s and Yoochun’s eyes widened. You and Jaejoong stared at him in disbelief. “KISS! KISS! KISS!” Joon chanted.

Soon, the room was chanting with him. You and Jaejoong uncomfortably looked around. His classmates wouldn’t let them go so easily. Jaejoong quickly leaned in and pecked your cheek. Your eyes rounded and you blushed.

“Not that kind of kiss! What are we? In elementary school? Come on!” Joon encouraged.

“Park Joon!” Jaejoong snapped but everyone was cheering.

Joon grinned with malicious, daring eyes.

You bit your lip *A REAL kiss?! But we never had one! Even at the wedding, he just kissed my cheek! This is so awkward! I knew I shouldn’t have come!*

Surprisingly, Jaejoong took your chin. *He’s really going to do it?!* You gulped. *It’ll be quick.* Jaejoong nodded. You nodded back. As he came closer, your heart went THUMP THUMP THUMP.

Ahyoung and Yoochun were both horrified but couldn’t look away. All eyes were on you and Jaejoong. Finally, he just shut his eyes and pressed his lips against yours. His heartbeat accelerated right when his lips touched yours.

“WOO! WOO!” Everyone cheered. Ahyoung fumed as Yoochun awkwardly looked away.

*It’s funny. Why don’t I have the slightest will to pull away?* Jaejoong wondered. You stayed very still, afraid that if you moved, he would break the kiss.

“All right, all right! That’s enough!” The crowd good-naturedly teased. “Go kiss some more at home.”

You and Jaejoong finally broke apart. You embarrassingly covered your flaming cheeks. *What did we just do?!*

Neither of you could look each other in the eye.

The party resumed. Jaejoong went to his other friends and you stayed in your spot. Yoochun came down, “That was…exciting.” “Yeah and embarrassing.” You sighed. He titled his head with an amused smile, “You don’t seem that thrilled to kiss your own husband.”

You straightened up with a meek smile, “I don’t? Ha, it’s just cause I’m nervous. Mmmhmm…yup.”

Yoochun chuckled, “You’re funny.”

“Thanks.”

“Would you like to get another drink- er, juice?” He smiled back as if it was an inside joke. You smiled back, “I’d love to.”
