The next morning, you poked your head out of your room and looked around. You had woken up early to get ready for the ‘so-called husband and wife quality time’. But you didn’t see Jaejoong anywhere. Your shoulders deflated immediately *Maybe he was just kidding. Most likely, he forgot.*

You turned to go back in but the door to Jaejoong’s room abruptly opened. Your eyes widened.

Jaejoong stepped out and put his jacket on. “You ready to go?” You binked, “W-we’re really going?”

“What? You thought I was joking?” He smirked. You cleared your throat and stepped out, “Okay, I’m ready.”

You followed him out of the suite, “Where are we going anyways?”

To your surprise, Jaejoong had already planned everything out. First, the two of you took a drive along the highway. Jaejoong opened the windows so that you could feel the breeze. “It’s so amazing!” You held out your hand to catch the wind and giggled. Jaejoong glanced at you and grinned *She’s so easily amused.* You rested your arms on the windowsill and beamed at the passing scenery.

Jaejoong parked in the forest somewhere. You hiked behind him, “Where are we going?!” “Just trust me.” He chuckled. You blew a raspberry and followed him deep into the woods.

You abruptly stopped with enlarged eyes, “Wait…you’re not gonna kill me, are you?” Jaejoong turned around and walked backwards. An entertained expression was on his face. “You watch way too many dramas.” You made a face.

The two of you arrived at a cabin that was actually a café. The owner was a pretty elderly woman with a warm smile, “Welcome.” “Wow…” You looked around the beautiful vintage café. You sat down and whispered, “How do you know this place? I’ve been to Jeju plenty of times but I never knew a place like this existed.” “Not many people do. You saw how difficult it was to get here.” Jaejoong smiled.

The woman came over with exquisite tea and biscuits. They were surprisingly delicious. You snapped pictures of the beautifully decorations and smiled. You giggled as you sipped your tea and kicked your legs up and down like a little kid. The way that the sunlight streamed in and hit you made you look even more angelic. Jaejoong tenderly smiled *She looks prettier today than she did at our wedding. Wait, what the hell am I saying? She’s nothing compared to Ahyoung.* He drank his tea to assure himself.

The woman came by, “I can see you two are newly married, am I correct?” “How did you know?” You asked, amazed.

“You new couples all have the same aura. Happy, pure, and sweet.” The woman smiled. “I have two bicycles in the back. I can’t ride them anymore because of my arthritis but you two are more than welcome to use it.” She offered.

You and Jaejoong looked at each other. He shrugged and nodded, “Wanna ride?”

The two of you went to the back. You hopped onto the pink bicycle and he got on the blue one.

Together, the two of you pedaled down the lane between the beautiful pine trees. The minty smell of fresh pine filled your lungs. A smile naturally came on your face *I never knew how beautiful nature was.* Jaejoong relaxed. He forgot about work, Ahyoung, and the arranged marriage thing. All he knew was that in this moment, he was content.

Jaejoong watched you on your bicycle and smiled. And he was happy to have someone to share this perfect moment with.

You met eyes with him and smiled. That day, something between the two of you deeply connected.

You didn’t see him as the enemy anymore and he didn’t see you as the girl he was forced to marry.

To you, he was just Kim Jaejoong, your first crush, the stuck-up but cool man, and your husband.

To him, you were just Kim ~~~~~~~~, his childhood sweetheart, a childish woman, and his wife.
