Dongwook’s eyes popped wide open. The first thing he saw was the kerosene lamp above. Light was seeping through the thin tent. Dongwook sat up and rubbed his eyes *Morning already?* He looked to the side to see you and Hyunbin curled towards each other fast asleep.

Dongwook smiled but it disappeared in a flash *HER WEDDING!* He checked his watch and his eyes widened.

It was already 9 in the morning and the wedding was at 1!

Dongwook shook you, “~~~~~ wake up!” “Hmm?” You mumbled. “YOU’RE LATE FOR YOUR WEDDING!” He shouted.

You bolted right up. “What time is it?!” You grabbed his wrist and gasped loudly. “OH NO!” You fumbled up and ran out the door, stepping on Hyunbin’s leg.

“OW! DAMN YOU!” He roared in pain.

“Hurry up and get ready!” Dongwook slapped the pillow on his nose and ran out to drive you to the beauty salon.

Hyunbin stood up, causing the tent to fall over. Frustrated, he swam out of the fallen tent. “WHOSE GENIUS IDEA WAS IT TO SLEEP OUT HERE ANYWAYS?!”

“YOURS!” You and Dongwook shouted as the two of you hopped into his car.

“Oh. Right.” Hyunbin sighed and slapped his forehead.

Dongwook speedily drove you to the salon.

On the way in, Jaejoong was already coming out in his tuxedo. He raised an eyebrow at your bed hair and wrinkled clothes. You flushed and covered your face, “Hi.” Jaejoong shook his head, “Must have been an exciting bachelorette party last night.” “Er, I’m late. Excuse me.” You darted inside.

Hours later, you were ready to be a new bride. Your friends oohed and ahhed at how gorgeous you looked. You nervously smiled as they tried to take a picture with you. When they left to find a place in the wedding hall, you started to anxiously pace around. Half of you were considering to run away. You couldn’t take it anymore and walked towards the door. Abruptly it opened and you stepped back in surprise.

Hyunbin and Dongwook came in. Hyunbin raised an eyebrow, “Trying to run away?”

“I don’t know!” You sighed and sank back onto the chair.

“Don’t run away. If you do, your parents will catch you and you’ll just be humiliated and all the plans will go down the drain.” Dongwook said. “I know but it feels so wrong!” You stomped your feet.

“Too late now.” Hyunbin shrugged. You scowled.

Dongwook tried to shift the mood, “You look beautiful, by the way.” He elbowed Hyunbin. “Ow, what?!” Hyunbin hissed. Dongwook gave him a look and nodded at you. “Yeah, you do look beautiful.” Hyunbin added.

You gave him a look.

“I’m serious. I bet you’re the most gorgeous bride in the world. Jaejoong is lucky now and your future husband will be even luckier in the future.” He smiled. You tearfully smiled. You didn’t know why you wanted to cry.

Hyunbin bent down in front of you and took your hands. “Why are you crying? It’s a happy day.” He reached out and wiped a trailing tear away.

“I’m getting married now and oppas-“

“Will always be here for you. We promised, remember? So don’t cry.” Dongwook wiped the remainder of your tears away. You smiled and they smiled back.

“Never lose that smile.” Hyunbin and Dongwook leaned in and kissed you on the cheeks at the same time.

The door opened and the worker said, “Miss bride, it’s time.”

“Let’s go get you hitched.” Hyunbin and Dongwook held out their hands. You took them and they led you to the hall. “~~~~~ are you ready?” Your dad proudly smiled and held out his hand. Dongwook gave your hand to him. You looked at them. They waved and went inside the hall.

You took a deep breath. “Nervous?” Your dad asked. You nodded. “Me, too.” He chuckled. “I thought I would never see the day I would walk you down the aisle but here we are now. My beautiful daughter is all grown up.” “Dad.” You softened and hugged him, “No matter what, I’ll always be your little girl.” He squeezed you.

“May the bride enter!” The MC called. You and your dad pulled apart and nodded. Then he took your hand and led you down the red walkway.

All eyes were on you. People clapped and commented on how pretty you looked. Ahyoung snootily clapped while Yoochun smiled and clapped loudly. Hyunbin and Dongwook proudly smiled at you.

Hyunbin leaned in and whispered, “You were right.”

“I usually am but what about this time?” Dongwook asked.

“Our best friend is an angel.” Hyunbin smiled and Dongwook smiled back.

You dared look forward and met eyes with Jaejoong. He was literally staring at you with an open mouth. You actually flushed and looked away *Why is he staring at me like that?! He already saw me in my wedding gown before!*

You and your dad reached the end of the aisle. Jaejoong snapped out of his daze and walked up. He bowed and your dad nodded. He gave your hand to Jaejoong and patted Jaejoong’s shoulder, “I trust her with you. Take good care of her.” “Yes, sir.” Jaejoong bowed. He looked at you and carefully led you to the podium. You could hear your mom crying behind you and tears welled up in your own eyes.

The ceremony began and ‘I do’s’ were exchanged.

Finally, you and Jaejoong were proclaimed as husband and wife.

The two of you turned and bowed to the audience. People cheered and sprayed silly strings all over you and Jaejoong as the two of you left the room.

You and Jaejoong were the first ones out and faced each other. He reached out and took a silly string out of your hair. Jaejoong smiled, “I guess this is the start.” “I guess.” You shrugged. He held his hand out, “Let’s do well until we separate.” You paused then slipped your hand into his.

The two of you gazed at each other while shaking hands. At once, everyone spilled into the reception hall. You and Jaejoong were busy playing the good bride-and-groom. Your friends urged you to throw the bouquet. So you stood at the far side of the room and glanced back, “Ready?” “Ready!” The females responded.

Dongwook and Hyunbin stood behind them. “What’s so great about bouquet throwing?” Hyunbin asked, amused.

“It’s hope for these females. It’s a sign that they’ll finally settle down within 3 years.” Dongwook grinned.

“1.2.3!” You threw the bouquet. It headed towards the guys. Instinctively, Dongwook uncrossed his arms and caught it. All the girls stared at him, shocked and offended. “Uh-oh. This was not supposed to happen.” Dongwook awkwardly laughed and uneasily looked around.

Hyunbin laughed hard while pointing at him, “You have to get married within 3 years now!”

The party went on until evening when your flight to Jeju was scheduled. You tearfully hugged everyone goodbye.

“Have fun on your honeymoon!” They waved. You waved back and entered the limo.

Jaejoong saw you crying and handed you his handkerchief. “T-thank you.” You sniffled.

“Are you that upset to be married to me?” Jaejoong chuckled. “It’s not funny.” You mumbled.

“Hey,” He called. You looked up at him. “Think of this as a vacation, not as a honeymoon, araso?” Jaejoong suggested. You nodded.
