Remember the time when you were young and full of dreams? Well, Kim Taeyeon does but it is nothing more than a distant memory for her now. Married to a loving husband with a rebellious daughter and living with an overbearing mother-in-law, Taeyeon's life changed dramatically since she left high school all those years ago. However, a chance encounter with an old friend of hers, Kim Hyoyeon, brought back all the sweet high school memories from the years gone by. But her life takes a different turn and she ends up marrying her husband who also happens to be her boss. Since getting married, Taeyeon has focused on her family and has abandoned her dream of writing. While she regrets not being able to do what she loves, nothing puts a smile on her face like seeing her whole family at the dinner table every night, even with an overbearing mother-in-law. When Taeyeon unexpectedly reunites with the members of Girls' Generation, she rediscovers her passion and purpose in life. But is she willing to make the sacrifices involving her family?

Background: Jung Soo-yeon, or Jessica as she prefers to be called, was born in Japan and was the last member to join the Girls' Generation clique. As a student, Jessica was not very bright but as a person, she was shrewd and cunning, and will resort to anything to get what she wants. Even though she sometimes comes off as materialistic and selfish to her friends, they still love her and accepts her as their own. This behavior actually stems from the negative experiences she had while she was still a child living in Japan. As such, she believes that the only way out in life is to have lots and lots of money, fame and power. Jessica was the closest to Taeyeon in high school and they shared many secrets together. However, their friendship is broken when Jessica accused Taeyeon of betraying her. In a fit of rage, she vowed that she wants nothing to do with Taeyeon and the whole of Girls' Generation anymore. But what happens when they meet again years later?

Name: Lee Soon Kyu (Sunny)

Age: 35

Status: Married

Background: Like her nickname implies, Sunny is always happy and was known to be the one who lights up a whole room during her time with Girls' Generation. Sunny was also the most superstitious and can always be seen reading up on horoscopes and sharing it with her friends and also handing out her homemade good luck charms to the girls. She was also known for her rather ginormous appetite. Since leaving high school, Sunny has married what she thought was her Mr. Right. The couple runs a real estate agency together but in this time and day, who is willing to invest in properties with crazy high prices? This takes a toll on Sunny's relationship with her husband, who constantly accuses her of being lazy and blames her for not bringing in any business for the company. She longs to get her husband to love her again and one day, as though her prayers had been answered, she gets an opportunity. But is the risk worth it?

Name: Tiffany Hwang

Background: American-born Tiffany spent most of her childhood living in San Francisco, California before moving back to Korea with her family when she was 10. Due to her American upbringing, she was the most talkative and opinionated member of Girls' Generation, known for her motor-mouth, where once she starts talking, it will take a huge effort to stop her. She was the group's gossip monger and she would always update her fellow friends the latest and hottest gossips in school. While she mostly gets away with it, there were a few times where got her into trouble, and the most severe of this almost broke up the whole group. Regretting over what she could have possibly done, Tiffany turned over a new leaf, becoming more and more quiet as time goes by and eventually landing a job as the Director of Public Affairs, where she only needs to memorize the lines fed to her and where her opinion doesn't count for anything. Then again, is this really the way Tiffany wants to spend the rest of her life?

Name: Kim Hyoyeon

Background: Born in a dance studio, Kim Hyoyeon's life is all about dancing, earning her the nickname Dancing Queen. She, along with Girls' Generation, had won several dancing competitions while in high school but she has never won anything individually yet. Her dream is to win a competition all by herself and she wants her friends to be there when she does that. Therefore, she is always training hard and working hard, teaching dancing for a living even though her dance studio is ailing. Her positive attitude and naivety drives her on to continue chasing after her dreams and she is possibly the only one still going after her dreams in Girls' Generation. But no matter how positive she is, life hasn't exactly been easy on her: family dramas, a conniving elder half-brother, striving hard to keep her dance studio alive and to top that off, her own mental health! Will Hyoyeon be able to overcome all her problems and win the trophy that she had wanted for a long, long time or will she succumb to all of her predicaments and crumble?

Background: Im Yoona was the most popular and prettiest girl during her high school years. She was something of a guru in the Girls' Generation clique and was always talking about it openly in front of her friends, even though they were clearly embarrassed about it. Yoona was born into a single parent family and as such, she had a lot of love and respect for her mother, to the extent where she tried to control her mother's love life by forbidding her to be in a relationship with a man she truly loves. Yoona became a flight attendant after leaving high school and was involved in several romantic but ultimately destructive relationships. When her mother had a , she quit her job and returned home to take care of her. Since then, Yoona has been in charge of the bar that her mother owns, busy taking care of the business until she has no time for love. But what happens when the man that her mother claims to truly love returns? On top of that, Yoona has a pursuer but she is old enough to be his mother! What will Yoona do?

Background: Kwon Yuri was originally a part of the Girls' Generation gang but when Jessica arrived on the scene, she was immediately replaced. She was also self-righteous and showy, giving off the impression that she joined the group solely to prove her superiority. But it was not hard to tell that Yuri was only wearing a mask as she really is just an insecure girl. Believing that she has to prove herself to the world, she studied hard and worked hard and is now the CEO of a beauty and fitness company that specializes in dancing. As fate would have it, she runs into Jessica who seems to be down on her luck. Is this an opportunity for Yuri to take revenge against Jessica and her group of ex-friends?

When her adoptive parents revealed to her her true heritage, Joo-hyun becomes curious of the identity of her biological parents. As she continues her little mission, she encounters Sooyoung, with whom she becomes friends with and eventually Taeyeon and the rest of the Girls' Generation clique. Believing Taeyeon to be her long lost biological mother, she becomes devastated when she learns that Taeyeon is not her mother. Just when she is ready to give up, a surprising new information is revealed to her but can she accept the fact?

Background: The oppa that every girls in school was crazy about, Choi Siwon was the most handsome and most popular boy in high school. He was known for his charismatic persona and every girls seemed to swoon over him. Well, maybe not all since his charms did not work on Hyoyeon who was too naive and Yoona who couldn't care less. Nevertheless, he managed to steal the hearts of three girls, Taeyeon, Yuri and Jessica but he only had feelings for Taeyeon. However, before they could take their relationship to another level, Siwon left Korea to further his studies in America. Siwon returns to Korea some years later but he was no longer the charismatic oppa that everyone knows. If anything, Siwon had become a shell of his former self and to make matters worse, he is taking orders from Yuri??!! Just what exactly happened to our dearest oppa?

Background: Lee Dong Wook is the owner of a clothing factory and is also the husband of Taeyeon. They met when Taeyeon applied for a job as his secretary at a time when Taeyeon's family was facing financial difficulties. Dong Wook slowly falls for Taeyeon and lucky for him, Taeyeon reciprocates the feelings and they soon get married and they had one daughter together. Dong Wook loves Taeyeon very much but he was never really around much of the time due to his busy schedule and at one point, they even had a misunderstanding involving Taeyeon's old crush, Siwon. Background: Shing Dong-hee, or Shindong like how he always refers to himself, was Jessica's ex-boyfriend. Although he had packed on the weight, he was actually quite the hunk during Jessica's high school days. Shindong is a free spirit who can never stay still in one place. Just when Jessica thought that they can be together, Shindong left her, breaking Jessica's heart. Later on, he returns to Korea, apparently unaware of the damage that he had done. Despite all his flaws, he is actually a good man but he needs to learn to take responsibility for his actions. Is it too late for Shindong to realize his mistakes?

Background: A male model and spokesmodel for Yuri's company, Park Min Woo met Sooyoung during a photo shoot for a print ad.
